  1. Postpublished at 20:51 BST 1 September

    Sheff Utd 1-1 Bolton

The away side, who scored in the first minute of the first half, almost score in the second minute of the second half but Michael Cooper in the Blades goal makes a smart stop to keep Thierry Gale's low shot out.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 20:50 BST 1 September

    Swansea 2-0 Watford

Edoardo Bove is on for Amin Nabizada as Watford boss Alessio Dionisi attempts to claw his side back into this one at Swansea.

The two sides are otherwise unchanged.

It's back under way in south Wales.

  3. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:50 BST 1 September

    Birmingham 0-1 Southampton

Somehow Blues trail at the break.

Jay Stansfield has thumped the post and somehow headed wide from close range while August Priske has also sent a header just wide, while Saints had not created an awful lot at the other end, in truth, despite dominating possession, until Kevin Schlotterbeck's flashing header on the stroke of half-time.

  4. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 20:49 BST 1 September

    Lincoln 0-0 Blackburn

The away side have the ball in the net in the opening moments of the second half but the flag is up against Todd Cantwell and Andri Gudjohnsen's celebrations are short-lived.

  5. goal

GOAL: Birmingham 0-1 Southamptonpublished at 20:48 BST 1 September

    Kevin Schlotterbeck (45+3 mins)

    Now then...

Leo Scienza swings in a corner from the right and it's met by the head of Kevin Schlotterbeck who flashes a header into the net past James Beadle to mark his second appearance with his first goal.

    Blues will be kicking themselves.

  6. CLOSE!published at 20:46 BST 1 September

    Birmingham 0-0 Southampton

Good work from Patrick Roberts on the right to whip in a cross which is met by the head of August Priske in the middle, only to guide his header narrowly past Daniel Peretz's near post.

  7. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:42 BST 1 September

    Portsmouth 0-1 Derby

Sam Szmodics celebrates giving Derby the lead at PortsmouthImage source, PA Media

Derby County forward Sam Szmodics returned to the starting line-up after recovering from a thigh issue and proved the difference at Fratton Park, scoring the only goal of the first half and his third of the season.

Pompey had the lion's share of possession (63.9%) but were unable to make that count on an emotional night following the passing of legendary goalkeeper Alan Knight.

Only one of their 10 shots found the target, while Abu Kamara was adamant he deserved a penalty after being brought down in the Derby box, but his appeals were waved away by referee Sam Allison.

  8. 'Wolves are causing West Ham problems'published at 20:41 BST 1 September

    HT: West Ham 2-1 Wolves

    Paul Parker
Ex-QPR and Manchester United defender on BBC Radio London

Wolves certainly have something to grab on to. They are very solid, they know what they are doing when they attack and they are causing big problems to a defence with not very much pace.

Both sides have been relegated but West Ham are still learning about this league.

Does it need more personality from West Ham? I'd say yes, just to do something different to put into the minds of the oppositions because they are not doing it yet.

Wolves are having to chase but they can go forward and back because they've got more mobile players than West Ham.

  9. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:41 BST 1 September

    Stoke 1-0 Norwich

Viktor Johansson with another fine save to prevent Andre Brooks drawing Norwich level, this time blocking with his legs at the near post.

Kenny McLean has also dragged an effort past the post for the Canaries while at the other end Million Manhoef has been thwarted by Vlad Kovacevic, who had rushed off his line and almost wiped the Potters man out trying to claim an Ethan Galbraith through-ball.

Credit to him for staying on his feet, it might easily have been a penalty otherwise.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:37 BST 1 September

    Swansea 2-0 Watford

Eom Ji-Sung and Adam Idah put Swansea in control with a goal and an assist apiece at home to Watford as manager Vitor Matos' side move to the top of the Championship table, as it stands.

In a ring of symmetry, both goalscorers registered their second league goals of the season.

The Hornets, who, like the Swans, went into this match unbeaten, had chances of their own, but were denied by a combination of home stopper Lawrence Vigouroux and some errant finishing.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 20:37 BST 1 September

    Stoke 1-0 Norwich

Viktor Johansson to the rescue for the Potters with a big save to deny Andre Brooks the equaliser from point blank range while he has also thwarted debutant Darlin Yongwa as the Canaries seek a leveller.

  12. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 BST 1 September

    Sheff Utd 1-1 Bolton

The home side took the lead inside 30 seconds through Xavier Simons but the home side pegged them back after just four minutes through skipper Japhet Tanganga.

Both teams have had chances since then but it's all-square at the break.

The Blades have drawn all three of their league games so far this season, is it about to be four from four?

As a West Ham fan, I genuinely hate ever being 2-0 up. In fact I’m much more hopeful and confident when we’re 1-0 down than I ever am when we have a two goal lead!

    Tom, London

Thought I'd tune in to see how Mukasa was doing on his loan. What on earth have you just done lad?

    Harry, Manchester

You know the phrase 'great advert for Championship football'? Well Birmingham v Southampton is the opposite so far!

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 BST 1 September

    West Ham 2-1 Wolves

Divine Mukasa scores West Ham's opening goal against WolvesImage source, Getty Images

Wolves began the brighter but Divine Mukasa's stunning strike off the underside of the crossbar from well outside the box saw the game catch light just after the half-hour.

Jarred Bowen made it two from the penalty spot after Joel Piroe was fouled in the box on 42 minutes but there was still time for Marshall Munetsi to stroke one back to halve the deficit and tee the second half up perfectly.

  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 BST 1 September

    Preston 0-1 Bristol City

Preston have 45 minutes to avoid a fourth successive defeat to start the Championship season.

Scott Twine's goal inside the first five minutes has the away team a goal to the good.

The home side have had some chances but have got to take one sooner rather than later.

  16. 'So calm from Munetsi'published at 20:32 BST 1 September

    West Ham 2-1 Wolves

    David Kelly
Former Wolves and West Ham striker on BBC Radio WM

It's a great finish from Marshall Munetsi.

It was so calm, he pulls it back from his left foot, onto his right and bends it around Mads Hermansen.

This is a very decent game.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:32 BST 1 September

    Lincoln 0-0 Blackburn

Not... Not a HUGE amount to report from this one so far.

George Wickens in the home goal made a decent stop from Todd Cantwell and that's it.

  18. CLOSE!published at 20:31 BST 1 September

    Swansea 0-2 Watford

Othmane Maamma puts an inviting cross in from the Watford right, on to the head of Mamadou Doumbia, but his header sails over the bar. Just needed to get over it and the Hornets could have been in business there.

Signs of promise for the visitors before the break.

  19. goal

GOAL: West Ham 2-1 Wolvespublished at 20:29 BST 1 September

    Marshall Munetsi (44 mins)

    Game on!

Konstaninos Mavropanos gets done for pace as the ball loops in behind the Hammers defence from a ricochet in midfield and Marshall Munetsi races through, holds off his man and slides a lovely low finish to Mads Hermansen's left and inside the post from just outside the box.

All go at the London Stadium.

    Good time to score, too.

  20. 'What a different feeling'published at 20:29 BST 1 September

    West Ham 2-0 Wolves

    Paul Parker
Ex-QPR and Manchester United defender on BBC Radio London

What a different feeling this is.

People are going for refreshments with smiles on their faces and not waving their arms wondering what's going on because the performances have been rotten so far in this league.
