    Konstantinos Mavropanos (64 mins)

The crossbar is having a busy night.

    West Ham are in dreamland.

Konstantinos Mavropanos meets a corner from the left with a header which comes back off the bar.

The defender gets on the rebound himself and thrashes in an effort through a crowd which thunders off the underside of the bar, bounces onto the line and back up into the roof of the net.

Wolves won 4-1 on Saturday, they now trail by the same score.

  3. goal

GOAL: Portsmouth 0-2 Derbypublished at 21:08 BST 1 September

    Lars-Jorgen Salvesen (62 mins)

Second-half substitute Lars-Jorgen Salvesen had only been on the pitch for three minutes, after replacing Rhian Brewster, and he makes an instant impact to double the visitors' advantage.

The Norwegian took one touch after being teed up by Oscar Fraulo and unleashed a thunderous strike for his first goal of the season. Quite the finish.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:07 BST 1 September

    Sheff Utd 1-1 Bolton

The away team in the ascendancy so the home team make a triple change.

Kalvin Phillips, Oli Arblaster and Tom Cannon are all on.

West Ham dominating the game now. Perhaps an early sign that one team may be going back up and the other is staying down? Or is this a bit premature?

    David, Sheffield

Don't fall in love with a loan signing, never ends well.

    Steven, London

  6. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:06 BST 1 September

    Swansea 2-0 Watford

Eom Ji-Sung just has Watford keeper Federico Ravaglia to beat but he comes out and spreads himself well and the Hornets eventually manage to scramble the ball clear.

Swans sub Melker Widell did well in the build-up before getting the ball to the South Korean.

Big chance for the home side to put this match to bed has gone begging there.

  7. KICK-OFFpublished at 21:04 BST 1 September

Two games kicked-off at 20:00 BST

Getting back under way in our late offering where Norwich and Birmingham will seek to get back on terms against Stoke and Southampton respectively in the next 45 minutes.

  8. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 21:03 BST 1 September

    Preston 1-1 Bristol City

The away team respond to being pegged back by making a triple change.

Cameron Pring, Jed Wallace and Gibson Yah are all on.

  9. Portsmouth pushing for an equaliserpublished at 21:02 BST 1 September

    Portsmouth 0-1 Derby

    Dan George
BBC Sport England at Fratton Park

Portsmouth are on the charge here and the crowd are really pushing them on.

This has been much better from John Mousinho's side going forward after a sharp start to the half by Derby.

  10. Postpublished at 21:02 BST 1 September

    Sheff Utd 1-1 Bolton

Chile international Ben Brereton Diaz heads wide for the home side at the back post after a cross beats Jack Bonham in the Bolton goal.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:01 BST 1 September

    Swansea 2-0 Watford

Swansea are toying with Watford here, who can't get the ball off them, but not really putting too much of an effort into extending their two-goal advantage.

Vitor Matos takes the opportunity to freshen up his side with a couple of subs, bringing on Melker Widell and Moussa Yeo for Elijah Just and Joseph Opoku.

Might be wishful thinking, but Piroe reminds me a bit of Dean Ashton. And not just for the frosted tips - he has the same awkward-no-pace style, just hoping he also knows where the goal is.

    Nick, Epsom

    West Ham very lucky tonight.

    Kev, Wolverhampton

  13. Postpublished at 21:00 BST 1 September

    Swansea 2-0 Watford

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

It was always going to be a big ask for Swansea to maintain the intensity levels they produced in the first half, and this contest has been more even since the break.

When they do get forward, Watford have looked capable of causing Swansea problems.

They just need to do it a bit more often if they are to get back into this contest.

  14. 'A tough pill to swallow'published at 20:59 BST 1 September

    West Ham 3-1 Wolves

    David Kelly
Former Wolves and West Ham striker on BBC Radio WM

Jose Sa's tried his upmost to get to that. It's bounced off Mukasa's foot and gone over his head. That's a tough pill to swallow.

Wolves have started the second half really well, they've got plenty of time.

  15. Postpublished at 20:59 BST 1 September

    Lincoln 0-0 Blackburn

    Lincoln do tend to score.

The last time they failed to net in a league game was 8 November last year.

Approaching the hour-mark it does feel like one goal either way will do it in this one.

  16. goal

GOAL: West Ham 3-1 Wolvespublished at 20:57 BST 1 September

    Divine Mukasa (53 mins)

He's got another! Also in the top corner, but very different to his first.

The on-loan Man City man Divine Mukasa picks up the ball on the right of the Wolves box and works some space on his left foot to shoot.

His effort cannons off a defender and loops beyond the dive of Jose Sa into the far corner to raise the roof at the London Stadium.

    He's made some impact.

  17. goal

GOAL: Preston 1-1 Bristol Citypublished at 20:53 BST 1 September

    Caleb Wiley (51 mins)

    The home side level up!

Chelsea loanee Caleb Wiley scores his first goal in English league football on his first start for Preston.

It's a tremendous strike by the USA international and no more than the hosts, who have lost all three of their league games so far this season, deserve.

  18. 'Saints have managed challenge'published at 20:53 BST 1 September

    HT: Birmingham 0-1 Southampton

Kevin Schlotterbeck celebrates giving Southampton the lead at BirminghamImage source, Getty Images

Keven Schlotterbeck has been brilliant in the defence areas and now we know he can be brilliant in the attacking areas.

He's just too strong. He beats his fellow German Phil Neumann and places a brilliant header.

    I think we've played well.

I don't know how Jay Stansfield missed his two chances for Bimingham, but you've got to have quality and put your chances away. It just shows how set-pieces changes games and with a brilliant header we are 1-0 up.

I think we've settled in the game, we've managed the game we've been challenged with and I'm pretty pleased with that first half.

  19. Postpublished at 20:53 BST 1 September

    Portsmouth 0-1 Derby

No changes to either side at Fratton Park, but you would imagine that Portsmouth boss John Mousinho will not wait too long to ring the changes if his side fails to turn their possession into meaningful efforts on goal.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:51 BST 1 September

    Stoke 1-0 Norwich

Ethan Galbraith's low skidder from distance separates the sides at the break but both keepers have made a series of saves to ensure it's the only goal of a lively first half.
