A point each and a brilliant game to be honest. I thought it was excellent.

We have seen some top quality moments in this football match top to bottom. Goalkeeper saves, distribution, goal kicks from Harry Kane which have practically been an assist. Super passes from Odegaard and Kane, finishes, chances in the box.

Two top teams going toe to toe in a more relaxed fashion knowing that there isn't a knockout at the end of this game and I think that showed in the way both teams approached it.

Professional performance. Yes, Aston Villa have conceded a goal but I do think for the majority of this game, they have been in complete control.

Full time here at the Bernabeu.

A good 4-1 win for Real who seemed to find a new level in the last 20 minutes with some impressive individual goals.

It's an important win in the league phase but also a massive confidence boost going into Sunday's Clasico... what a test that will be.

It's great to see Yan Diomande putting his talent on show. We haven't seen much of him really this season but in the last week, he's really started to come into his own. Vini Jnr's league suspension means he'll inevitably be getting more minutes.

    All over and all square!

An entertaining encounter with four goals and plenty of excitement.

  10. CLOSE!published at 21:51 BST

    Bayern Munich 2-2 Arsenal

Cracking strike by Jurriën Timber that looks to be dipping just under the crossbar until Manuel Neuer pushes the ball over with his fingertips.

Into the final few seconds of three minutes of stoppage time. That might be the last chance for either side.

  11. INJURY TIMEpublished at 21:51 BST

    Aston Villa 3-1 Viking

Four minutes added on. Viking possibly more likely to score again than Villa.

  12. Postpublished at 21:50 BST

    Aston Villa 3-1 Viking

Not that it really matters but that Viking goal takes Aston Villa off top spot in the Champions League table.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:49 BST

    Bayern Munich 2-2 Arsenal

A blow for Bayern Munich because Luis Diaz is injured and the substitute will have to go off. He is replaced by 18-year-old midfielder Bara Sapoko Ndiaye, who makes his Champions League debut.

What a finish that is by the way! That is a very difficult finish.

Neuer's positioning for that goal is frankly embarrassing. It has to be time for him to retire.

    Callum

Decent goal from Arsenal, but really lazy from Davies not tracking Rice, and Neuer got his angles all wrong there.

    Bayern Munich 2-2 Arsenal

    Matt Upson

You could feel it building, the pressure, the presence. We were talking about set pieces and this is a far cry from just a header flicked in from a near post corner. This is a brilliant team goal with movement, passing, one and two touch.

    Lovely play from Gyökeres.

The ball from Madueke who's wide, he spins it inside to Gyökeres, who uses his strength to hold Tah off and flicks it into the path of the on running Declan Rice, who's galloping through into the 18-yard-box, runs onto the ball and smashes low into the bottom corner with his right foot.
