  1. 'Great finish from the free-kick'published at 12:49 BST 22 August

    Lincoln 0-2 Portsmouth

    Toni McHamilton
Former Lincoln City Women Captain on BBC Radio Lincolnshire

It was a great finish from the free-kick. I don't know if it took a little deflection on the way through, but that takes nothing away from the strike.

Portsmouth have come into today fighting and they have got two good goals.

  2. goal

GOAL: Millwall 1-0 Norwichpublished at 12:48 BST 22 August

    Tairyk Arconte (18 mins)

Told you we would get goals.

Jenson Metcalfe cross and when Josh Coburn's effort is saved, Tairyk Arconte is on hand to tap home his first goal for the Lions.

He got 14 goals in the French second division with Rodez last season and he already looks to be a decent signing having hit the post at Bristol City last weekend as well.

  3. Postpublished at 12:48 BST 22 August

    Birmingham 0-0 Bristol City

Robins keeper Sam Tickle and opposite number James Beadle are just struggling to find their range with clearing kicks and have ended up booting the ball between each other on several occasions already.

It's not a javelin competition, gents, get it on this lush green grass and let's play some football...

  4. Postpublished at 12:47 BST 22 August

    Millwall 0-0 Norwich

Norwich are beginning to pop the ball around nicely and earn themselves a free kick in the attacking third as Mohamed Toure is sent crashing to the ground.

Skipper Kenny McLean lines it up and bends it over the bar.

Not wanting to tempt fate but on the evidence of the opening 15 minutes we are surely going to get goals in south London.

  5. goal

GOAL: Lincoln 0-2 Portsmouthpublished at 12:46 BST 22 August

    Adrian Segecic (16 mins)

    WALLOP!

Dear me, Lincoln's big day is going from bad to worse.

Portsmouth forward Abu Kamara is felled just outside the Lincoln penalty area.

Adrian Segecic hammers it goalwards and it takes a slight deflection off Conor McGrandles as it flies by George Wickens in the home goal.

I don't think he'd have saved it even if it hadn't to be honest.

  6. 'Good start from Bristol City'published at 12:45 BST 22 August

    Birmingham 0-0 Bristol C

    Gary Owers
Former Sunderland & Bristol City midfielder on BBC Radio Bristol

This has been a good start from Bristol City, they have defended really well and pressed strong. They will be really happy.

  7. Postpublished at 12:44 BST 22 August

    Lincoln 0-1 Portsmouth

No need for Lincoln, who had started well before the goal, to panic but that Pompey goal is a real statement of the difference between League One and the Championship.

The Imps were caught out far too easily and the visitors punished them.

You might get away with one or two in League One. Not here.

Colby Bishop meets a corner from the right that George Wickens in the home goal saves comfortably.

  8. Postpublished at 12:43 BST 22 August

    Birmingham 0-0 Bristol City

Palace loanee Rio Cardines is playing on the left for Bristol City, rather than his usual right-back berth, but shows good awareness to glance an angled cross behind for the first corner of the game.

He completes the clearance with a near-post header from Alex Cochrane's inswinger and the Robins break down the field but Lorent Tolaj can't connect with an acrobatic effort beyond the far-post.

  9. Postpublished at 12:43 BST 22 August

    Millwall 0-0 Norwich

A good save from Vladan Kovacevic.

A Millwall corner is cleared to the edge of the area where Camiel Neghli meets the ball on the volley and the Norwich goalkeeper gets down well to his right to make the save.

    This is very entertaining.

  10. Lincoln's American back in attendancepublished at 12:43 BST 22 August

    Lincoln 0-1 Portsmouth

    Andrew Aloia
    BBC Sport at ProAmpac Stadium

It's a packed house here at Sincil Bank - which has been recently given the name of the ProAmpac Stadium.

Among the excited mass of Imps supporters is Lincoln's American backer Ron Fowler, who is best known in the world of sport for being the former co-owner of Major League Baseball side San Diego Padres.

The depth of his pockets will no doubt play a major role in how Lincoln, a club that has worked their way up the leagues with modest budgets, get on in the Championship - a division where money is spent in sums that will be totally alien to the Imps.

  11. 'Bristol City out of the traps with ambition'published at 12:42 BST 22 August

    Birmingham 0-0 Bristol City

    Richard Wilford
    BBC Radio WM commentator

Bristol City, for a team that has not started the best this season, they have come out the traps with some ambition in the first few minutes of this one.

  12. Postpublished at 12:41 BST 22 August

    Millwall 0-0 Norwich

Norwich had been struggling to get a foothold in this one.

They finally smuggle the ball away and Oscar Schwartau hits a weak shot which Lukas Jensen is safely behind.

Moments later Schwartau is presented with an even better chance but prods the ball wide from close range.

  13. 'Lincoln need to stick together'published at 12:41 BST 22 August

    Lincoln 0-1 Portsmouth

    Toni McHamilton
Former Lincoln City Women Captain on BBC Radio Lincolnshire

Lincoln are going to have to get used to conceding goals and going behind. It has been a rare feeling but they will need to adapt to it.

They have just got to be careful and stick together.

  14. CLOSE!published at 12:39 BST 22 August

    Birmingham 0-0 Bristol City

    This is more like it.

Good work from Bristol City's Yu Hirakawa to hold the ball and slot Scott Twine into the box on the right but his angled shot flies past James Beadle but also inches past the base of his upright.

  15. goal

GOAL: Lincoln 0-1 Portsmouthpublished at 12:38 BST 22 August

    Ryan Kavuma-McQueen (8 mins)

One shot, one goal for the away side!

On their first foray over the halfway line Portsmouth take the lead.

It's far too easy it has to be said.

One ball forward has the ball beyond the home midfield and the ball is worked from right to left where Chelsea loanee Ryan Kavuma-McQueen is able to progress into the area and then hit a low shot that take a slight nick on its way into the bottom corner.

Some first start in senior football for the 17-year-old!

  16. Postpublished at 12:38 BST 22 August

    Birmingham 0-0 Bristol City

Frantic stuff, and pretty scrappy, if we're honest so far.

Both sides are trying to get the ball out wide at every opportunity but neither keeper has had a sniff of the ball in the opening seven minutes.

Jhon Solis has had the first shot of the game from the edge of the D after neat work from Seung-Ho Paik but it flies well over the bar.

  17. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 12:37 BST 22 August

    Millwall 0-0 Norwich

    Josh CoburnImage source, Shutterstock

He has already scored twice this season and Josh Coburn is within the width of a post of adding a third of the campaign for Millwall.

Camiel Neghli slips him in and Coburn thumps a shot off the woodwork.

  18. Postpublished at 12:36 BST 22 August

    Lincoln 0-0 Portsmouth

MASSIVE chance for the home side!

Freddie Draper battles for the ball on the halfway line and then does well to set strike partner Ben House free and running in on goal.

House tries to just place a low shot by Nico Schmid in the Pompey goal but his effort is too close to the big keeper.

  19. Postpublished at 12:34 BST 22 August

    Lincoln 0-0 Portsmouth

The hosts were prolific from set pieces last season and they're causing problems from them again.

Pompey eventually boot the third corner in quick succession to safety.

  20. Postpublished at 12:34 BST 22 August

    Millwall 0-0 Norwich

Plenty of early hustle and bustle from Millwall with the pace of Kyrell Lisbie upsetting the Norwich defence.

The home side have already been caught offside on three occasions as they seek an early breakthrough.
