The Birmingham goal shortly before half-time has denied the chance to see what the reaction from the home faithful would have been to seeing their side head off 1-0 down at the break.

Not everything is as rosy in the Blues garden as you might imagine and that incredibly fortunate own-goal might just have spared Chris Davies from an ear-bashing.

Very impressive and very good from Millwall who lead through Tairyk Arconte's first goal in a Lions shirt.

Josh Coburn has hit the post, Jake Cooper has had a goal disallowed for a marginal offside and Kyrell Lisbie has seen an effort cleared off the line.

Norwich have looked ragged and disjointed with Oscar Schwartau wasting their best chance when prodding wide from close range.

The visitors are fortunate it is only 1-0.

After a bright start from the home side it was the visitors who took a 2-0 lead on what is Lincoln's first home game at this level in 65 years thanks to goals from 17-year-old Ryan Mavuma-McQueen and Adrian Segecic.

The Imps have not gone under though and Reeco Hackett's penalty has them right back in this contest.

Do I expect more goals after the break? Absolutely.

Not the best game you'll ever see, but we have had a couple of late goals which made it interesting, as scrappy as they were.

Scott Twine put the visitors ahead 12 minutes before the break when he converted at the second attempt after Rob Dickie's knock-down from a deep set-piece but Blues got themselves back on terms as Carlos Vicente's low shot cannoned off the post and into the net off the back of keeper Sam Tickle.

We are into two minutes of stoppage time.

Norwich badly need the interval to regroup.

Into ONE added minute at the end of the first half at St Andrew's.

Sniff of a chance for August Priske in the box but Sam Tickle comes off his line bravely to beat the Blues man to the ball.

The hosts have woken up as the half has worn on and Carlos Vicente and Jay Stansfield in particular have had way more influence as we approach half-time.

George Wickens has to react smartly to stop Portsmouth striker Colby Bishop's deflected strike beating him at his near post.

Blues created an overload into that right side and then the ball into the box was really fizzed at Vicente who did the rest.

It really came out of nothing, no sustained period of pressure but Bristol City will be disapointed.

Millwall's Jenson Metcalfe is too keen with a challenge on the edge of the Norwich area, catches his man and is cautioned.

Norwich are playing with fire.

Michael Skubala will be pretty delighted with how this game has gone so far.

The Robins have scored their first goal of the campaign, created the better of the chances, and have largely kept Blues quiet.

Can they keep the advantage until the break, however?

Nice effort from Reeco Hackett but no second goal.

Adam Reach launches a good direct ball forward down the inside left channel that Hackett brings down just lovely but then miscues his shot wide of goal.

Not a lot of optimism from Norwich fans here - things aren't that bad are they?

It is a little bit of fortune for Twine, the way it eventually falls for him, but from a defensive point of view they have to do better. They just didn't get the ball clear.

Birmingham are just lacking a bit of punch going forward. The striker is isolated at the top of the pitch. They are crying out for some creativity.

Freddie Draper is booked for the home side for a... meaty aerial challenge on Terry Devlin.

Draper is built like a man who could be a heavyweight boxer if the football doesn't work out and Devlin is not built like that.
