  1. Bromley counting on home comfortspublished at 19:29 BST 1 September

There will not be many envying the task facing Leyton Orient tonight as they hope to become the first side to leave Bromley with all three points at the 28th attempt.

Seventeen victories and 10 draws at Hayes Lane is a prime example of why Bromley have had so much success recently, culminating in their promotion to League One for the first time in their history.

Mind you, Saturday's 7-2 battering at Sheffield Wednesday was an unwelcome reminder of the leap in quality Andy Woodman's side will encounter this season.

Orient make the short trip hoping to win consecutive away games at the start of a season for the first time since 2015.

The Os have won just one of their past 10 league games, avoiding relegation by only three points last year. A a big improvement will be demanded this time around.

  2. Terriers and U's renew acquaintancespublished at 19:26 BST 1 September

Huddersfield Town v Oxford United (19:45 BST)

A first EFL meeting between these two sides for 22 years, not that Oxford United have had much to cheer about against the Terriers anyway.

You have to go back 32 years for the last time the U's tasted victory against Huddersfield since which time they have made an unwanted trip into non-league football and back again.

An unbeaten start to the season has once again given Huddersfield fans hope they can escape League One. The return of midfielder Cameron Humphreys on loan from Ipswich will certainly do no harm to those chances, nor will the form of striker Joe Taylor who already has three goals to his name.

Oxford's relegation from the Championship ultimately, albeit belatedly, cost head coach Matt Bloomfield his job, with Aaron Ramsey the man entrusted with the hot seat.

A transfer embargo has not helped Ramsey in doing his job but a win and a draw from their opening two games has at least given cause for optimism.

League One's last remaining 100% record went by the wayside with Bradford City's loss at Plymouth on Saturday.

Blackpool hold the lead in the standings over Huddersfield by a single goal.

Leicester's search for a first win of the season brings Plymouth to the Midlands, while Sheffield Wednesday will be hoping to back-up Saturday's 7-2 thrashing of Bromley at winless Wycombe.

Goals scored is currently what separates Barnet and Walsall at the top of League Two following Dean Brennan's side's draw at home to Cheltenham on Saturday.

It is the same situation with York City, Colchester United and Crewe Alexandra, who are all level on goal difference with two wins and a draw from their first three matches.

Salford City have gone close to picking up points, losing by just a one-goal margin in both of their past two games, while Rochdale will see tonight's home game against Shrewsbury Town as a vital chance to move off the bottom of the table having lost their opening three matches.
