  1. 'Bradley and Flo are players that I trust 100%'published at 17:20 BST

    LASK v Liverpool (17:45 BST)

Andoni Iraola said that he wasn't too bothered about the transfer fees of Florian Wirtz and Bradley Barcola, despite Wirtz only managing one assist so far this season and Barcola failing to get a goal involvement yet.

"The possibilities are the same. The other day, if (Lewis) Koumas scores the goal that he connects with really well, then it is one assist for Bradley Barcola. His performance is exactly the same but we will all say, 'he played really well with an assist'.

"Sometimes we focus only on the numbers. With Bradley, the other day, he had good situations and we did not finish them. Bradley and Flo are players that I trust 100%."

  2. 'City deserved to win on the pitch'published at 17:16 BST

Man City v PSG (20:00 BST)

Paris St-Germain boss Luis Enrique says he was surprised to learn Manchester City had been found guilty of breaching Premier League financial rules and hopes the club can avoid sanctions.

"There is a lot of noise around Manchester City and there is often noise around big clubs," said Enrique when asked about City's guilty verdict at a news conference at Etihad Stadium on Tuesday.

"We just have to wait and see what the final decision will be. I hope everything works out well for Manchester City because I think what they have done on the pitch has been incredible over the last few years and they certainly deserved to win on the pitch all the trophies they have won.

"Now we have to wait to see what the authorities decide or the judge is going to say."

Wirtz has so much ability. I wish I had that ability because he just glides. He makes it look effortless - but he doesn't hurt teams.

He doesn't impact the game enough. He drifts in and out of games. He's here for 10 or 20 seconds and then he disappears for five or 10 minutes and you think where is he now?

I expect Andoni Iraola to approach the LASK game differently. This is a Champions League game, not a league match. Liverpool's determination to overcome the City defeat must inspire a good performance against LASK that can end in a draw or a win for the Reds.

LASK's first home match in the Champions League is a high-profile one, as they welcome Liverpool to Raiffeisen Arena.

The Austrian side won a domestic double last season for only the second time in their history. They then qualified for the Champions League in dramatic fashion too, overcoming a 3-0 first-leg loss to Celtic in the play-offs to win 5-1 at home after extra time and 5-4 on aggregate.

Key player Christoph Lang has had a red-hot start to the season, scoring 11 goals in 14 appearances.

The forward was called up to the Austria senior squad for the first time during the most recent international break and scored on his second appearance, in a 1-1 draw against Kosovo.

He once joked he was "unbeatable" at backgammon and has a tattoo that reads "speech is silver, silence is golden".

  6. 'No excuses' - but is Villa's stadium rebuild affecting team?published at 17:05 BST

    "No excuses," said Unai Emery.

The Aston Villa head coach was talking about his team's form amid Villa Park's rebuild.

He had already turned the air blue when describing their defeat to Nottingham Forest last month.

It was a rare moment of candour from the Spaniard with Villa yet to win at home this season after Saturday's 2-2 draw with Brentford.

The North Stand is a shell and currently closed for building work as the club increases the stadium's capacity to over 50,000.

It is part of the club's plan to help Villa bridge the financial gap in the Premier League, but they may have to endure some short-term pain for long-term gain.

"Our handicap is less supporters for the situation, but the club decided it. It is something to improve us for the future," said the Spaniard.

"We must try to be together and without 7,000 supporters we must push everyone. We must play better football, compete better, be more focused. Those are more important than the stand.

We're just under an hour away from kick-off in Linz but one stand behind the goal is already full with LASK supporters.

There's a large banner at the bottom of the band which says Landstrassler and they represent the ultras for the Austrian side.

This is actually their first ever Champions League game at home - the last time they played at home in the European Cup was in September 1965.

  8. Can Villa grab first home win?published at 16:58 BST

Aston Villa v Fenerbahce (20:00 BST)

    BBC Sport journalist

Aston Villa will be on the hunt for their first home win of the season when they welcome Fenerbahce to Villa Park. After a 2-2 draw with Brentford on Saturday, Villa have now only won four of their past 12 home league matches.

Head coach Unai Emery will hope a change of competition will spark a change in fortunes for his team, although a Fenerbahce team packed with Premier League experience will be a threat.

The Turkish giants are back in the Champions League for the first time since 2008-09 and come into the game after a 3-0 win at Rizespor in the Turkish Super Lig. After a tricky start to the season, they are now up to fourth in the Turkish top flight.

Villa have won all three of their meetings with Fenerbahce, the most recent being a 1-0 away victory in the Europa League in January.

Andoni Iraola tasted defeat for the very first time as Liverpool boss in Sunday's 3-0 loss to Manchester City.

The Spaniard will be hoping his side bounce back at the first opportunity as they look to make it two wins from two in the Champions League this season.

    Feyenoord v Como (17:45 BST)

Tonight's other early kick-off sees Feyenoord host Como in Rotterdam.

The Dutch side are looking to get off the mark at the second time of asking after suffering a 5-1 defeat at the hands of Barcelona on matchday one.

Cesc Fabregas' Como produced a superb performance on their Champions League debut last month, beating RB Leipzig 4-1. Could they be dark horses to go deep in the competition?

Feyenoord come into this one off the back of three straight league wins, in which they scored 14 goals and conceded none. After a strong start to the campaign, Como haven't scored in their past two games.

It should be an entertaining match-up at De Kuip.

  12. 'What do you want us to do?'published at 16:45 BST

Man City v PSG (20:00 BST)

There has been a lot of chat around the behaviour of Manchester City fans in Sunday's 3-0 win over Liverpool with some suggesting it was over the top and disrespectful after they were found guilty of breaches of the Premier League's financial rules.

Inflatable bananas, doing the poznan, self-deprecating chants about being 'cheats' and waving fake money around - are City fans embracing their role as 'the villains'?

Many rival fans didn't like it, others have questioned what were they supposed to do.

Boss Enzo Maresca was asked in his press conference what he thought of the criticism his players and fans received, he said "Criticised for what?"

"What do you want us to do? We work every day to win games. It's the only thing that we can think about and be focused on.

"The rest? It's just things from outside that we need to deal with - but we were so, so, so happy on the pitch, and you cannot imagine inside the changing room."

Former Norwich striker Chris Sutton said: "What are they meant to do? Stop playing? Walk around with miserable faces? That is not going to be the case. They would have enjoyed a victory at Anfield anyway.

"It isn't the players' fault or the manager's fault and the fans will have enjoyed it."

Like Sunday, Liverpool will be without Dominik Szoboszlai, Cody Gakpo and Alexander Isak this evening in Austria.
