Stephen Warnock
Former Liverpool defender on MOTD: UEFA Champions League

This game is done and, more than anything, it is now an opportunity for Liverpool's young kids to show what they can do.

It's also a chance for Barcola to get some minutes in his legs and get a bit sharper but Iraola's main thinking now must be to rest his key players for Saturday's game at Brentford.

That's the important one and it's going to be a much bigger test than this. So it's the right thing to do to give Van Dijk a break but I am not sure why Alisson is playing and risking a potential injury.

You can hear more from Warnock on MOTD: Uefa Champions League at 22:40 BST on BBC One and the BBC Sport website and app.

PSG are notorious slow starters in the Champions League and seem to get going when it matters. A slow start in Ligue 1, they are fortunate in the fact Luis Enrique can rest a lot of players at the weekend.

I expect him to go strong. The truth is tonight, whoever wins, I don't think it matters for the loser. I think both teams will qualify for the next stage. But nonetheless it will be a good to see a team with PSG's quality go up against Manchester City.

It's more about Man City and how they perform because they have been so good in the Premier League but PSG are the team to beat in Europe.

People will say that it is only LASK and Liverpool fans shouldn't get too excited but that first-half was exactly the response that Andoni Iraola would have wanted for his players after Sunday's defeat to Manchester City.

They've shown plenty of intensity and quality and above all, they have been ruthless in front of goal. That's something we've not seen enough of this season, so far.

It is.

LASK head clear to Trey Nyoni on the edge of the box and he slices a wild volley into the crowd.

Think that's it for the half.

The tricky Rio Ngumoha wins a free-kick.

Last chance of the half.

Into a minute of added time.

Liverpool come again as Ryan Gravenberch goes right to Rio Ngumoha. He knocks it back for Jeremie Frimpong to deliver but it's just too high for Florian Wirtz.

Liverpool recycle it and Wirtz goes for the curler but Lukas Jungwirth saves.

Bradley Barcola is in space again. He drives into the box, twists and twists before trying to tee up Lewis Koumas but there's a LASK foot in the way.

They just can't get to grips with Wirtz, and his movement and how clever his forward passing is, and when Barcola has space to run into, he is a real problem.

Great first touch out of Barcola's feet and the confidence to finish like that!

LASK do win a corner as they look for a goal back but the delivery into the back post is nodded wide.

Tough from there.

Andoni Iraola came to the defence of Bradley Barcola and Florian Wirtz in his pre-match presser and that is exactly why.

Great play between the two.

LASK simply cannot contain Liverpool.

It's a lovely combination between Florian Wirtz and Bradley Barcola.

And you get the feeling there's more goals to come.

Liverpool are really getting into the groove here. Andoni Iraola will be delighted with what he's seeing from his side and LASK have got to be careful because the visitors are cutting through with ease.

A rare attack from LASK ends with Christoph Lang finding space for a strike but he drags it wide of Alisson's post.

Bradley Barcola is having a nice time out there.

He rolls it through the legs of Samuel Adeniran and shapes one towards the far corner but it takes a deflection.
