While we're waiting, news of some remarkable hitting in the third T20 between India and Afghanistan, where Abhishek Sharma has struck a 30-ball century - the fastest in a T20 international between two full-member nations.

The opener, who was knocked off the top of the T20 batting rankings in July, continued to make 108 from 34 balls, hitting nine fours and 11 sixes in India's 221-7.

The 26-year-old reached three figures in the ninth over - at that stage India were 132-0 - having scored a remarkable 96 of his 100 runs in boundaries.

Afghanistan never got going in reply and were dismissed for 94.

Thank you, Michael. England have won 18 of their past 20 T20s. They are big favourites to make that 19 from 21.

Well, Sri Lanka started brightly and Charith Asalanka and Wanindu Hasaranga put on a reasonable partnership off 44 in the middle overs.

However the visitors will overall be disappointed that they lost their momentum from the powerplay, and England start this innings as favourites.

Here's Matthew Henry to take you through it.

England have been brilliant. Sri Lanka started really well but were then not able to find any momentum. Jamie Overton has taken the Liam Plunkett role through the middle.

Sri Lanka will be disappointed with the score, given the start they had.

  6. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 20 overs

    Ratnayake c Brook b Archer 4 (SL 145-9)

The innings ends with a wicket.

Tharindu Rathnayake flails at Jofra Archer's last delivery and drops the ball into the hands of Harry Brook at mid-on.

It's Jofra Archer's second scalp and he ends with figures of 2-34.

Full and straight from Archer. The field is set for the short ball so it was a gamble. But Archer is able to challenge with the short ball, full ball and use his skills as well.

Sri Lanka have lost their way.

  8. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 19.3 overs

    Chameera b Archer 0 (SL 142-8)

    Bowled him!

Jofra Archer picks up his first wicket in the final over the match, sending the middle stump of Dushmantha Chameera backwards with a full and straight delivery.

The big swing did not connect.

  9. SL 142-7published at 19.2 overs

Tharindu Rathnayake blocks out Jofra Archer's yorker, pushing the ball out through point for a single.

If Josh Tongue was available you would think Sonny Baker would be missing out. That's what you want. Depth and people pushing.

A wicket maiden. You do not say that often in T20 cricket.

  12. SL 141-7published at 19 overs

A wicket maiden for Sonny Baker with the penultimate over.

He finishes with figures of 1-15 as new batter Dushmantha Chameera can't get him away.

Another good evening for the young seamer.

  13. How's stat?!published at 19:55 BST 17 September

As England captain Harry Brook bowls spin 40% of the time at the death, that's up from 18% under Jos Buttler.

The lights are a lot better than they used to be here but you still have to take them.

  15. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 18.2 overs

    Hasaranga c Dawson b Baker 27 (SL 141-7)

    And now Wanindu Hasaranga departs!

Both Sri Lanka's set batters depart in quick succession as Hasaranga sends up a skier off Sonny Baker.

Liam Dawson takes the catch in the covers - a first wicket of the match for Baker, who befuddled Hasaranga with the cutter.

  16. SL 141-6published at 18 overs

Sri Lanka's next batter is debutant Tharindu Rathnayake.

The 30-year-old gets off the mark with a quick single to point.

Using your feet to Adil Rashid is so difficult. He has so many variations and pace changes.

  18. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 17.2 overs

    Asalanka c Overton b Rashid 31 (SL 139-6)

    There goes the captain!

England break the partnership of 44 and it's another catch for Jamie Overton.

Charith Asalanka slices the ball to Overton at long-off for the fielder's second catch of the night.

If I was a fast bowler I would be so scared after that. It must be a horrible feeling.

  20. SL 138-5published at 17 overs

    Some pretty wild shots there.

Charith Asalanka and Wanindu Hasaranga both sky the ball but see their shots drop short of fielders at backward square and point.

Between those shots, Sonny Baker fell over while bowling with the ball sticking in his hand.
