    Sussex 393 & 133-3 v Surrey 321 - lead by 205

Oli Carter pushes Mahipal Lomror into the off side for no run.

A quicker ball is played off the back foot into the leg side.

Can Surrey get another one quickly here after that gifted Haines dismissal?

  2. Women's One-Day Cup latestpublished at 14:50 BST 11 September

It's a bit of a cruise for The Blaze at present as they chase a target of 160 to beat Essex at Chesterfield.

The home side are 93-1 after 12 overs with the Bryces together - Sarah is 42 not out from 32 balls and Kathryn on 32.

    Durham v Middlesex 280-8 - target 424

It's about 160 miles from the Riverside down to the Our Coop County Ground in Derby but events there are just as relevant.

If Durham get these last two wickets, they will go up. But with Kent seven down, they may not need another wicket as that would assure promotion, too.

    Sussex 393 & 131-3 v Surrey 321 - lead by 202

James Coles lets his first ball go outside off. That was a googly and not far away at all. Over bowled.

Surrey have tried everything but the pitch has gone to sleep a little, certainly with the older ball.

Oli Carter drives Rahul Chahar for a single.

A quicker ball is played with Tom Haines down into the off side.

    A short ball...

The ball is pulled firmly and caught low by Surrey captain Rory Burns diving to his left.

Great catch and Haines has given it away somewhat.

That was a long hop. James Coles to bat next.

  6. dropped catch

Dropped catchpublished at 14:41 BST 11 September

    Durham v Middlesex 277-8 - target 424

Is that a drop? Yes, it probably is.

Callum Parkinson gets Tom Helm edging very low towards slip where Kasey Aldridge dives for it. He seems to get under the ball but can't hang on in the roll afterwards.

Not the easiest chance for a big man at slip off a spinner, but it is a chance.

  7. Postpublished at 14:41 BST 11 September

    Sussex 393 & 130-2 v Surrey 321 - lead by 202

Tom Haines tries to work Mahipal Lomror away leg side and is blocked at short leg.

Single second ball to fine leg.

A single to Oli Carter through point and that's the 200 lead in the 44th over.

Tom Haines flicks through mid-wicket for one.

One more to Carter into the off side.

  8. 150 runs

150 up for Kentpublished at 14:41 BST 11 September

    Derbys v Kent 158-7 (Target: 434)

Kent bring up their 150 in the 50th over of their innings.

Grant Stewart moves onto 23 with successive fours - he lifts Matt Montgomery aggressively to the mid-wicket boundary and then the bowling all-rounder cuts well to point.

    Durham v Middlesex 277-8 - target 424

A very nice shot from Harry Duke as he plays an uppish square cut for four off Ben Raine.

It's a classic sort of small of stature wicketkeeper shot, very dougthy.

But that's a first 50 for Duke in Middlesex colours and he's done it in 84 balls.

    Sussex 393 & 126-2 v Surrey 321 - lead by 198

Rahul Chahar is round the wicket to Tom Haines - still with a short leg and leg slip in place.

Haines is forward, pushing to wide long on for a single.

Not for the first time, Oli Carter sweeps from outside off, missing on this occasion.

He gets a two stroked into the on side next ball.

Another sweep. Four runs firmly struck square.

  11. Close!published at 14:36 BST 11 September

    Durham v Middlesex 273-8 - target 424

Harry Duke goes for the paddle sweep off Callum Parkinson.

The wicketkeeper and close catchers spot it and start moving back, but they can't reach the ball before it hits the deck.

  12. Postpublished at 14:34 BST 11 September

    Durham v Middlesex 272-8 - target 424

Ben Raine returns to the Durham attack, possibly to stem the runs from this Middlesex partnership.

But Tom Helm works one to deep backward square for four.

He then works another one through the legside for a couple more.

Durham are being frustrated a bit here in search of the last two wickets.

  13. Postpublished at 14:33 BST 11 September

    Sussex 393 & 119-2 v Surrey 321 - lead by 191

Mahipal Lomror continues - bowling to Oli Carter.

Carter is defending deliveries tossed on and above the eyeline.

    Maiden over.

  14. Postpublished at 14:30 BST 11 September

    Sussex 393 & 119-2 v Surrey 321 - lead by 191

    40 overs bowled.

Surrey are a bit short of inspiration here but a draw would not be a bad result for the team, who are still clear of the relegation zone.

We have a pause in play as Umpire Jack Shantry walks to the end of the field to select a different ball from a box just beyond the boundary.

Leg side from Rahul Chahar and the Sussex pair run a bye.

Not much keeper Ben Foakes could've done about that one.

More leg side bowling and Tom Haines lets the ball go.

There is a leg slip and a forward short leg in so that's a wise tactic.

    Benjamin b Randell 32 (Derbys v Kent 144-7 - target 434)

A beauty! Brett Randell has bowled very well since lunch and has now claimed his second victim.

Having removed half-centurion Ekansh Singh, he has now removed the obdurate Chris Benjamin, who faced 115 balls for his 32.

This is a good nut. Benjamin looks to defend outside off, but Randell's delivery beats him and takes his off bail.

  16. Postpublished at 14:26 BST 11 September

    Derbys v Kent 144-6 (Target: 434)

Grant Stewart is not going to die wondering. He has come to the middle and has decided to counter attack after that 91-run stand between Ekansh Singh and current partner Chris Benjamin was broken.

Stewart takes on the part-time spin of Matt Montgomery and drills him through the covers and then, the very next ball, nails another over mid-wicket.

Kent now need just under a run a ball for the rest of the day.

Short from Mahipal Lomror and Oli Carter pulls for four.

A punch to deep cover yields two more runs.

    Durham v Middlesex 261-8 - target 424

A really well controlled pull shot from Harry Duke off Kasey Aldridge adds four more to the Middlesex total.

It is also a 50-partnership between him and Tom Helm for the ninth wicket.

On-loan Yorkshire wicketkeeper Duke has 41.

  19. Postpublished at 14:23 BST 11 September

    Sussex 393 & 111-2 v Surrey 321 - lead by 183

Single to Tom Haines, clipping Rahul Chahar to long leg.

Oli Carter sweeps from outside off for one run.

The Sussex spinners may be in for the long haul with the older ball.

There has been turn for them, but largely of the slow and predictable kind.

  20. 250 runs

250 up for Middlesexpublished at 14:20 BST 11 September

    Durham v Middlesex 253-8 - target 424

Tom Helm hits a big ball and he shows that quality as he launches Callum Parkinson for a legside four.

The number 10 now has 22 and the 250 is up for the Seaxes.

    Only 171 more runs needed!
