What a shot that is from Harry Duke! Brydon Carse goes full and Duke smokes it straight down the ground for another boundary.

What will Carse do last ball?

He goes short, but Duke is waiting for it and he launches this over the field and it gets over the ropes for four more.

Duke now 89 and is 11 away from a maiden ton.

Is this the moment? Harry Duke on the hook off Brydon Carse...

No, it lands short of deep midwicket.

Duke now goes for another hook shot. Deep fine leg is there, no the ball beats him and it's four for Duke.

    The batter moves to 81.

  3. Women's One-Day Cup resultpublished at 15:23 BST 11 September

The Blaze have followed the lead of the Notts men's side, who won earlier today, with a comprehensive nine-wicket win over Essex at Chesterfield.

Having bowled out the visitors for 159, they coasted to 162.1 in only 19.1 overs despite losing England's Tammy Beaumont for only seven.

Sarah Bryce hit 10 fours in her 70 not out off 52 balls and sister Kathryn finished with 67 off 46, including a six and 12 fours.

    Naavya Sharma's a popular lad!

He has five close catchers and the wicketkeeper for company as he faces Callum Parkinson.

And he almost chops onto the stumps from the final ball of the over. A couple of Durham fielders can't believe it!

    Durham v Middlesex 306-9

With Middlesex nine down, tea has been delayed so we carry on at Chester-le-Street.

Harry Duke has 76. Make that 77 as he jogs through another run from Callum Parkinson and that gives the strike to Naavya Sharma.

Well done Naavya Sharma. He blocks the first couple of Brydon Carse balls before grabbing a quick single off the third.

Carse goes short to Harry Duke and he pulls over midwicket for four to bring up his side's 300.

Duke then takes on another short pull and ends up top-edging over slips and down to the boundary for four more.

What's the tactic on the last ball?

Carse goes short again, Duke pulls and he gets a single to keep the strike.

Ben Raine to Harry Duke in search of the promotion-clinching wicket.

Four dots before Duke launches the fifth over the top for four. And he hits the last over cow corner. It plugs short of the boundary and Duke runs two, but that means he loses the strike.

Over to Naavya Sharma against the returning Brydon Carse.

  8. Tea at the County Groundpublished at 15:13 BST 11 September

    Derbys v Kent 175-7 (Target: 434)

That is tea at the County Ground in Derby.

The equation is simple for the evening session, the final one of this four-day game - Derbyshire need three more wickets and, while victory would appear to be out of the reach of Kent, a share of the points would help them along in their hunt for promotion.

Grant Stewart is unbeaten on 36 and he is joined by Bertie Foreman, who is 8 not out. There are 20 more overs remaining before Derbyshire can take the new ball should they wish to.

    All to play for.

  9. Tea at Hovepublished at 15:12 BST 11 September

    Sussex 393 & 141-3 v Surrey 321 - lead by 213

A long mid-pitch chat between the Sussex batters. So this must be the last over before the break now.

A leg slip and silly mid off come in and James Coles is in block mode.

A leg side punch brings a single off the fifth.

Oli Carter lets the last ball go into the pad from outside leg and that's tea.

A draw is near certain on a pitch that Surrey have had minimal assistance from with the older ball. This could be over before 5pm.

Good diligent batting from Sussex in the main as well, bar a very occasional loose stroke, which did for Tom Haines earlier this afternoon, pulling a long hop from Chahar to Rory Burns.

Tom Helm contributed a very good 32 in that stand of 79 with Harry Duke, but surely Middlesex's resistance will not last much longer.

Number 11 Naavya Sharma has an average of just over seven.

    Here comes Mahipal Lomror.

Oli Carter leaves outside off and the ball goes through to keeper Ben Foakes.

A change in the field. Mid off moves closer to the bat.

Plenty of air but Oli Carter can't get the ball past that mid off.

Maiden over. We've got time for one more before tea.

Mmm. Rory Burns is walking off. He may have damaged a finger in the field earlier.

    Derbys v Kent 172-7 (Target: 434)

Some quite eyebrow-raising turn from Jack Morley there. Pitches the ball on middle and leg and Wayne Madsen takes it at slip as Grant Stewart leaves it alone.

Stewart, with the final delivery of Morley's over, then pops the ball over short leg who dives backwards but cannot reach it.

Durham, get the celebration drinks ready! You are almost back in Division One!!

Callum Parkinson, coming round the wicket to Tom Helm, goes full and Helm almost falls over himself in trying to play it.

The ball spins into the pads, the finger goes and Parkinson is off like Imran Tahir in celebration.

Parkinson has 4-44 and only last man Naavya Sharma to come.

After a Callum Parkinson maiden, Brydon Carse begins his latest by being pulled for four by Harry Duke. A terrific shot, and he's enjoying himself despite the situation.

Four dots follow before Duke is discomforted by the final ball but he rides the bounce well to guide down past slip. But he turns down the single.

Not sure we imagined Middlesex still going past three o'clock when they lost two wickets quickly after lunch.

James Coles gets a long hop from Mahipal Lomror and almost chips it up to Dom Sibley on the leg side.

Steady on! He sees out the over a little more carefully thereafter.

A silly point comes in for the last ball and Coles defends leg side.

The sunshine has left Hove for the time being.

Oli Carter is forward, leaving Rahul Chahar outside the off peg.

A wider ball is stroked to cover for one. James Coles is back and across, cutting hard past Rory Burns for one.

    Sussex 393 & 138-3 v Surrey 321 - lead by 210

James Coles is back to a wide Mahipal Lomror ball, cutting to deep cover for a comfortable single.

Single to Oli Carter to the sweeper.

Tight single as Tom Lawes is quick to retrieve the ball and James Coles is a bit slow to get back.

Oli Carter hits one in the air, just short of Rory Burns on the off side.

    Single to Carter next ball.

  18. Best score for Dukepublished at 14:55 BST 11 September

    Durham v Middlesex 285-8 - target 424

Time for a bit more Brydon Carse.

He is going to crank it up a bit to Harry Duke and Tom Helm to discomfort them.

Harry Duke turns down a very tempting couple of singles and is then denied four by a fine stop from Ben Raine.

The plan looks clear - keep the number 10 away from the big fast bowler.

And Duke handsomely drives the last delivery of the over for a nice four to move to 57, his highest first-class score.

Shoaib Bashir is back into the attack.

Funnily enough, Kent's two batters at the crease were their highest scorers in the first innings - Bertie Foreman hit 49 as a night-watcher, while Grant Stewart struck 48.

Stewart has just sent Bashir through the covers to the boundary. He is now on 33 in this innings and has, at the very least from a Kent perspective, been entertaining and positive in his approach.

James Coles pushes a Rahul Chahar full toss away for one.

Chahar is giving the ball plenty of air.

Oli Carter watches it all the way and leaves.

Lovely leg break, fizzing past the edge of a forward defensive to end the over.
