    Notts v Yorks 1-0 - target 158

With Olly Stone withdrawn just before the end of Yorkshire's first innings through injury, Brett Hutton takes the new ball for Notts as they look to repeat what their visitors have done this morning.

Stone will be a huge miss for the hosts.

Pakistan international Mohammad Ali will share the new ball.

    Weatherley b Price 0 (Hampshire 128 & 3-4 v Sussex 244 & 319-9 dec)

It feels harsh to be too critical of Hampshire in this position but these are fairly desperate times.

They have fallen to 3-4 in four overs.

Joe Weatherley the latest man to go without scoring as Tom Price takes his third wicket in two overs.

Felix Organ scored one, but Toby Albert, Tom Prest and Joe Weatherley have all gone for ducks.

Nick Gubbins is not out on two and Ben Brown is the new batter.

  4. Postpublished at 12:11 BST 26 September

    Middx 27-2 v Northants - target 134

Max Holden has started with intent and moves to 17 off 22 balls as he looks to steady the ship after those early wobbles.

He decides not to tangle with Harry Conway (2-6) and plays out a watchful maiden.

    Middlesex need 107 more.

    Andersson c Cullen b Gibbon 8 (Derbys 38-5 - target 333)

Derbyshire head of cricket Mickey Arthur must be fuming.

    Albert lbw Price 0 (Hampshire 128 & 3-2 v Sussex 244 & 319-9 dec)

A nightmare start in what has been a forgettable season for Hampshire as they lose two wickets in the first nine balls of their innings.

Jaydev Unadkat removed Felix Organ lbw and Tom Price got Toby Albert via the same method to leave Hampshire wobbling already.

Tough going for relegated Hampshire who will finish bottom of Division One and are once again up against it.

    James b Coad 15 (Notts 251 & 85 v Yorks 179)

A slice of fortune for Lyndon James as he takes on Ben Coad.

Aiming for midwicket, James instead top edges over the slip cordon for four.

But his luck soon runs out as he takes a huge swipe across the line and Coad takes out middle stump. He finishes with 4-27 after a stunning morning with the ball.

Notts have lost their final seven wickets for 30 in less than 90 minutes this morning.

Not a great way for your batters to head into the close season.

  18. Essex short of confidencepublished at 11:57 BST 26 September

    Glamorgan 505 v Essex 129 & 14-0 - Essex trail by 362 runs

    Nick Webb
    BBC Radio Wales

Glamorgan enforced the follow-on as expected, with rain expected in Cardiff tomorrow, after Essex added just 29 runs for their last three wickets on the third day.

Once Kiwi Ray Toole made the breakthrough by bowling Zaman Akhter, medium-pacer Zain Ul Hassan enjoyed himself by completing his maiden five-wicket haul, having Sam Cook caught at slip and bowling Simon Harmer for 35.

Essex looked as short of confidence in their first innings as Glamorgan were until the Asa Tribe-led revival started at Surrey last week.

But the home bowling attack will have to work hard with little assistance from the pitch so far.

  19. Postpublished at 11:52 BST 26 September

    Glamorgan 505 v Essex 129 & 11-0

A first boundary for Essex in their second innings.

Ray Toole strays onto middle and leg which allows Paul Walter to flick him away to the mid-wicket fence.

Walter plays and misses at the next ball.

  20. wicket

    Robson c McManus b Conway 3 (Middx 12-2 v Northants - target 134)

Happening in a hurry at Lord's as a fifth wicket of the morning falls.

Sam Robson walks off a frustrated figure - and yoiu can understand why.

Harry Conway nips one back in towards the opener.

There's a sound as the ball moves throgh to wicketkeeper Lewis McManus which the umpire believes is the edge, but replays suggest it's more likely connected with Robson's hip.

Hope remains alive for Northamptonshire as Ben Geddes walks to the middle.
