Middx 47-2 v Northants - target 134
Harry Conway gets what's likely to be the last session of the season under way at Lord's with a no-ball.
Middlesex resumed needing 88 more runs for a fifth win of the season, Northants needing eight wickets to keep their fading promotion hopes alive.
But with Kent looking set for victory against Gloucestershire, it all seems a bit immaterial.

The end nears and history beckons for Warwickshire. That was right out of the footmarks, Patel could do very little about it, it didn’t bounce, it’s a proper day three spinner’s dismissal.

Glamorgan 505 v Essex 129 & 37-1 - lunch

Essex will need to put up firmer resistance with the bat if they are to salvage anything at all from this game.
Given the weather forecast tomorrow, seeing out two more sessions today might give them hope of an unlikely draw.
But having been skittled for 129 in the first innings and now 37-1 at lunch, still trailing by 339, that seems a big ask for a fragile Essex batting line-up.
The loss of Paul Walter just before the lunch interval to the impressive bowling of Zain ul-Hassan will have done little to settle any Essex nerves with the threat of relegation, if Leicestershire were to be successful with their points deduction appeal, still a possibility.

Slow going at Old Trafford this morning with Lancashire intent on trying to finish a disappointing campaign with another defeat.
They scored 63 runs in an extended session, but lost Keaton Jennings, Michael Jones and Marcus Harris in the process.
Josh Bohannon is 20 not out at the interval, with Rocky Flintoff on four.
England's Brydon Carse is so far wicketless, but has tidy figures of 0-23 from 13 overs so far.
Somerset 353-3 v Surrey 422 - Somerset trail by 69 runs
Anthony Gibson
BBC Radio Somerset
Just about the perfect morning for Somerset and their hopes of yet another second place finish in the County Championship, as the two Toms, Lammonby and Abell, have taken their partnership to 256, a new record for Somerset’s fourth wicket against Surrey.
In the process Lammonby passed his previous best first class score of 133 and Abell completed his fourth century of what has been an outstanding season.
Surrey have had their chances, but failed to take them, both batsmen having been put down, Lammonby on 104, Abell on 87.
Worcestershire 214 & 206 v Derbyshire 88 & 75-6
A target of 333 did not seem like a realistic one for Derbyshire chase after 29 wickets fell on the first two days at New Road.
But few could surely have expected a repeat of their first-innings capitulation when they were bowled out in just 34 overs.
Ben Allison bowled a brilliant spell, taking 5-16 from nine overs - giving him 10 in a first-class match for the first time.
It's now just a question of how long it will take Worcestershire to pick up the four wickets they need to end the season with a fifth Championship win, but Luis Reece has shown some resistance with 30 not out from 33 balls.

I refuse to believe Hampshire are that bad a team. I think they have just given up. Give your head a shake lads and understand that it is a privilege to play this great sport at such a high level!

A drop but it was a very difficult chance.
Will Young took an incredible catch earlier on but can't repeat his heroics this time.
He gets his hands to it and almost has it under control but as his arm touches the ground it pops out.
We're currently playing on an extra 15 minutes as the Foxes are eight down.
Hampshire 128 & 26-4 v Sussex 244 & 319-9 dec
Something of a rebuilding job from Nick Gubbins and Ben Brown to drag Hampshire up to 26-4 at lunch.
They were 3-4 at the end of the fourth over so the pair have added a modicum of respectability to the score at the interval.
Earlier in the session Tom Haines completed his century before declaring on 319-9 setting Hampshire a notional 436 to win.
