Kent 353 v Glos 229 & 30-2
A bit too full from Keith Dudgeon and Miles Hammond guides it through the covers for four runs.
Gloucestershire's deficit is 94 and there are eight overs remaining.

Glamorgan 505 v Essex 82-6
Simon Harmer drives to the long-off fence for a welcome boundary for Essex and the South African is off the mark. He follows it up two balls later with another four.
We have 5.3 overs still to bowl.

They’ll end up champions but it’s hard to say that Warwickshire have definitively been the best team this season. The CC needs Everyone plays Everyone, home and away fixtures to ensure that the table compares apples with apples. Some kind of “winning/losing draw” for rain-affected games would be welcome too
George, London
Not sure how they'd fit that all in with The Hundred, T20 Blast etc etc
As a Somerset fan it’s disappointing that we couldn’t cross the line (bar a miracle win by Leicestershire!). However it’s good to have such an exciting bowler dominated season I was fed up with teams piling up 500 plus scores and bore draws. Let’s hope for the same next season.

Warks 372 v Leics 125 & 42-2
We're going to get some more cricket!
The light at Edgbaston has improved enough for play to resume, with Leicestershire 42-2 in their second innings, trailing by 205 runs.
Kent 353 v Glos 229 & 26-2
Khaled Ahmed is right on the money in his latest over.
Tommy Boorman is equal to it, though. A maiden.
There are 10 overs left to be bowled.
Glamorgan 505 v Essex 73-6
Oohs and aahs from the Glamorgan fielders.
Matt Critchley tries to cut a ball from Ben Kellaway, it goes into the ground before bouncing up and just past the Essex batter's stumps.
Hampshire 128 v Sussex 244 & 216-5
Image source, Getty ImagesAnother excellent day for Sussex against Hampshire.
Jaydev Unadkat's 5-32 helped the visitors to a lead of 116 runs on first innings, with Hampshire all out for 128 in reply to Sussex's 244.
Then Sussex captain Tom Haines led the way with the bat, making 99 not out - his highest Championship score of the season - to take his side's lead to 332.
Haines will resume on Saturday morning on strike and needing one more run to reach his century.
Glamorgan 505 v Essex 73-6
A wicket-maiden from Timm van der Gugten as Simon Harmer blocks out the remaining four balls.
The skies seem quite bright in Cardiff now so we should be able to fit in the final eight overs of the day.
Kimber b Helm 0 (Middx 255 v Northants 103 & 220-7)
Image source, ShutterstockTom Helm strikes again with an absolute peach.
Louis Kimber looks to defend a ball which angles in, straightens and hits the top of off-stump. Sometimes you just have to say 'too good'.
A fourth-ball duck for Kimber and Northants have just three wickets left to stretch the lead to something vaguely defendable.
Ben Sanderson is the new man.
Bell lbw van der Gugten 12 (Glamorgan 505 v Essex 73-6)
Another over, another Essex wicket.
George Bell had got himself to 12 before being struck on the pads.
It looks a bit legside and the umpire takes his time before raising the finger.
Timm van der Gugten has his second wicket.
We still have 8.4 overs remaining in the day as Simon Harmer comes out to join Matt Critchley.
Harrison c Duke b Helm 15 (Middx 255 v Northants 103 & 220-6)
Spoke too soon.
Having brought up the fifty partnership and looked fairly untroubled against the second new ball, Calvin Harrison looks to drive outside off stump and edges to wicketkeeper Harry Duke.
Tom Helm strikes with his very first delivery with the new ball. Smart catch.
Louis Kimber joins Saif Zaib with the lead on a dicey 68.
Middx 255 v Northants 103 & 220-5
Saif Zaib turns Toby Roland-Jones to long leg to pick up a single.
It moves him to 72 and brings up a vital 50 partnership for the sixth wicket with Calvin Harrison.
They have taken the lead to 68 but will be well aware the job is far from done.
Somerset 222-3 v Surrey 422
Image source, ShutterstockA good comeback from Somerset today.
They took the final six Surrey wickets for 95 runs before lunch and then Tom Lammonby and Tom Abell have guided them into a strong position with a century stand.
Lammonby's unbeaten 103 has been a chanceless effort while Abell (63*) passed 1,000 first class runs in his 63 not out.
Surrey have lost centurion Dan Lawrence for the rest of the game after he received an England call for the ODI against Sri Lanka at The Oval on Sunday while Rahul Chahar has been ruled out through illness.
Kent 353 v Glos 229 & 20-2
Keith Dudgeon comes on as first change for Kent.
Tommy Boorman drives at his first delivery and Ekansh Singh floors the chance at point.
It costs Dudgeon a single and Miles Hammond hits the next ball to mid-wicket for four.
Hampshire 128 v Sussex 244 & 205-5
Three overs and change of the second day's play remaining at Utilita Bowl, where Sussex's lead is up to 321.
They've lost John Simpson since our last update but Tom Haines is still there on 93 not out.
Notts 251 & 55-3 v Yorks 179
The shadows are becoming more pronounced as the light deteriorates and the floodlights take over.
Umpires Michael Gough and Nigel Llong come together and agree to take the players off for bad light.
There are brighter skies around so we may get out again, but that's it for now.
Price b Milnes 9 (Kent 353 v Glos 229 & 13-2)
Matt Milnes strikes again!
A casual flick to leg by Ollie Price connects with nothing but air and looking back he finds a hole where his middle stump used to be.
Another 14 overs to come following this one.
Notts 251 & 55-3 v Yorks 179
Ben Coad is back for his second spell, hunting a second wicket, as he replaces Ben Cliff.
A tidy over costs a single to Jack Haynes who moves to 26, needng 26 more to reach the 1,000-run landmark for the Championship season.
George Hill also has a milestone in sight - he needs two more wickets to reach fifty for the season.
He angles one into Ben Martindale's pads and lets rip with an appeal, but it's doing too much and missing leg.
Glamorgan 505 v Essex 60-5
Matt Critchley drives Timm van der Gugten attractively to the long-off fence for four runs.
There is a lot of batting for Critchley and George Bell to do in Cardiff just to make things look respectable.
Warks 372 v Leics 125 & 42-2
The umpires take another light reading and usher the players off the field.
I'd reckon that's probably it for today but we await official confirmation of this being the close of play.
Sam Hain is leading Warwickshire off the field - his innings of 142 has helped the Bears into a winning position as they bid to clinch the Championship title.
