  1. 150 runs

150 up for Durhampublished at 34 overs

    Middlesex v Durham 153-4

Durham's progress feels rather pedestrian at the moment in the aftermath of that twin blow, when David Bedingham and Ben Stokes departed in quick succession.

Colin Ackermann cuts Luke Hollman for a single to bring up the visitors' 150, with 16 overs remaining. Any total in the region of 280-300 would be challenging, you feel.

  2. Postpublished at 34 overs

    Leics 151-3 v Notts

Short from Olly Stone but the bounce takes it over Nick Kelly and Kyle Verreynne who sticks a right paw up but failed to grab.

Nothing much the keeper could do there as it goes for four byes.

A run two brings up the 150 for Leics which garners a ripple of applause from the assembled Grace Road regulars.

A couple of dots finish the over as Stone completes his sixth set.

  3. Postpublished at 33 overs

    Leics 144-3 v Notts

Five singles from Farhan Ahmed's over with the boundaries proving hard to come by for the Foxes.

A wicket here for Notts would tilt this firmly their way but if one of these batters can let loose a total towards 300 might be in reach.

    Finely poised you might say.

  4. Postpublished at 32 overs

    Leics 139-3 v Notts

Another good over from Olly Stone who is generating a bit of heat.

Hamza Shaikh has 42 from 64 balls and Nick Kelly 33 from 51 deliveries which is slow going.

One of them needs to put the foot on the accelerator now and the guess is that it will be the former.

  5. Postpublished at 31 overs

    Middlesex v Durham 142-4

A close call early on for Colin Ackermann, who edges Zafar Gohar but the ball drops just short of slip.

The Middlesex spinner, whose first over went for 12, has taken 2-13 in his six overs since then - removing both Ben McKinney and Ben Stokes to boot.

Watching and listening from Vilamoura in the Algarve. Come on Notts, 4 chances of a trophy this year.

Always fun to learn how and where people are enjoying the coverage from, do get in touch and let us know your set up.

  7. Postpublished at 31 overs

    Leics 136-3 v Notts

Farhan Ahmed hits Nick Kelly on the pads and there is a big shout from the Notts fielders but the umpire is unmoved.

Probably quite right too as that looked as though it was missing leg. Kelly responds with a punched two and a nicked single.

Notts could do with separating these two who have now added 73 for the fourth wicket.

  8. 50 runs

50 for Will Rhodespublished at 29.3 overs

    Middlesex v Durham 137-4

    Durham's Will RhodesImage source, Shutterstock

Will Rhodes turns Luke Hollman for a single to bring up his half-century from 55 balls - his third of the tournament so far.

It's also the second time the left-hander has passed 50 against Middlesex, having scored 65 in Durham's group defeat at Chester-le-Street. His side could do with him turning this one into a hundred.

  9. Shaikh getting treatmentpublished at 30 overs

    Leics 133-3 v Notts

Hamza Shaikh is having a bit of treatment on his wrist. Did he cop one from Dillon Pennington on the hand? Possibly.

He looks key to this Leics effort but this is taking quite a long time while the physio pokes and prods at his right hand.

The physio seems to be comparing it to his left wrist which would suggest some swelling but either way he is putting his gloves back on.

He is having a pain killer.

    Stokes c Cracknell b Zafar Gohar 6 (Middlesex v Durham 136-4)

Zafar Gohar celebrates the wicket of Ben StokesImage source, Shutterstock

Ben Stokes is out - and he doesn't like it one bit!

Middlesex appeal for a catch behind off Zafar Gohar, the umpire's finger is raised - and Stokes momentarily just stands and stares before trudging off reluctantly.

Hard to tell whether there was an edge or not... Stokes clearly thought not. Middlesex won't care one bit.

  11. Postpublished at 27 overs

    Middlesex v Durham 128-3

Ben Stokes is off the mark with a single off Zafar Gohar, but it's a solid over for the spinner, with just three conceded in total.

Durham have got into the habit of losing a wicket just when they look as though they're getting on top.

Come on Notts, don't deny Yorkshire a place in the semi-final and then lose.

Hamza Shaikh (on 39) and Nick Kelly (28) are starting to move now and look well set with their partnership having started at 64-3

Haseeb Hameed is giving Freddie McCann another over which costs seven.

    Bedingham c Geddes b Hollman 22 (Middlesex v Durham 125-2)

Luke Hollman celebrates the wicket of David BedinghamImage source, Shutterstock

First over after the drinks break and Middlesex have the wicket of the dangerous David Bedingham...

The South African has just drilled Luke Hollman for an off-side boundary and goes for another later in the over - but picks out Ben Geddes at cover.

That brings a certain Ben Stokes to the middle for the visitors...

  15. Postpublished at 27 overs

    Leics 113-3 v Notts

Leg bye, single and then a loose full toss from Freddie McCann which Hamza Shaikh fails to take advantage from.

George Munsey saves a boundary off Nick Kelly on the cover rope but the batsman pounces on a shortish delivery and slams if over McCann's head for six.

Eleven off the over and that will probably be the end of McCann.

  16. Postpublished at 25 overs

    Middlesex v Durham 119-2

Luke Hollman looks frustratedImage source, Shutterstock

Will Rhodes gets away with an expansive attempted reverse sweep just before the drinks break, missing the ball completely but managing to scamper a bye anyway.

It all helps to nudge Durham's run rate towards five an over as we reach the halfway stage in this innings. Rhodes has 44, with David Bedingham on 16.

  17. 100 runs

100 for the Foxespublished at 25.1 overs

    Leics 100-3 v Notts

Hamza Shaikh nudges a single into the off side and Leics have reached three figures. About time too.

It has taken until halfway to do it and the run rate has slipped down below four runs an over.

  18. Postpublished at 25 overs

    Leics 99-3 v Notts

Freddie McCann has now sent down two overs at a cost of three runs and Hamza Shaikh and Nick Kelly are getting a little bit bogged down.

Notts are very much in control of this at this stage but Leics will fancy their chances as long as they have wickets in hand.

We are at a drinks break now.

  19. Postpublished at 24 overs

    Leics 98-3 v Notts

Misfield from Dillon Pennington as he doesn't quiet get down to that at third man which costs Notts an extra single as the Foxes nick a second.

Farhan Ahmed comes back with a beauty which beats everything, bat, pad, Nick Kelly and Kyle Verreynne.

  20. 100 runs

100 up for Durhampublished at 22 overs

    Middlesex v Durham 108-2

It's an all-spin attack now for Middlesex, with leggie Luke Hollman on for his first over and David Bedingham steers him off the back foot for a couple to lift Durham's total into three figures.

Bedingham follows that up by pulling Hollman over long-on - only just, but that's enough to bring the Durham batter his first six.
