    Notts 451-8 dec & 39-0 v Leics 365

That incredible last-wicket stand of 106 between Leicestershire pair Tom Scriven and Josh Davey has taken the sting out of this game.

It's all very serene at Trent Bridge with 30 overs to go. Notts lead by 119.

  2. 100 runs

100 for James Braceypublished at 14:39 BST 5 September

    Glos 237 & 356-5 v Derbyshire 278

James Bracey backs up his century in the first innings with another in the second!

He is the first Glos batter since 2007 to score centuries in both innings of a match and the first Glos wicketkeeper to achieve the feat of twin hundreds in a match since Harry Smith in 1919.

  3. D'Oliveira into the 90spublished at 14:37 BST 5 September

    Kent 238 & 358 v Worcestershire 217 & 264-5 (target 380)

Brett D'Oliveira's captain's knock is edging closer to three figures.

He moves into the 90s with a sumptious check drive inbetween Hasan Mahmud's right boot and the stumps at the non-striker's end.

The target was 380 and we all though that was far too much. It's now 116.

    Hmmmmmmmm.

New ball will be massive you feel. Maybe Kent's best chance?

It's just over eight overs away.

  4. Worcestershire have really stuck at itpublished at 14:31 BST 5 September

    Kent 238 & 358 v Worcestershire 217 & 256-5 (target 380)

    Frank Watson
    BBC Hereford & Worcester

We really thought Kent had batted Worcestershire out of the game but they've really stuck at it.

They're not there yet by any means but, goodness me, they've applied themselves well.

  5. 250 runs

250 on the board for the Pearspublished at 14:26 BST 5 September

    Kent 238 & 358 v Worcestershire 217 & 255-5 (target 380)

Matthew Waite has just bashed successive fours off Grant Stewart to take Worcestershire past 250 in this run chase that is starting to drift from 'impossible' to 'maybe, just maybe'.

You'd still rather be in Kent's boots but the longer this Worcestershire pair - who've so far put on 54 - concern will start to waft around.

Especially, when, or if, Worcestershire can get this chase into double figures. It's 125 at the moment.

  6. Postpublished at 14:25 BST 5 September

    Notts 451-8 dec & 12-0 v Leics 365

Nottinghamshire's first four overs suggests this one is going to end in a draw!

Haseeb Hameed and Freddie McCann are in the middle for the hosts, 12 on the board, and there is spin at both ends for the Foxes.

The lead is 98 with only 39 overs remaining.

Notts will take 15 points and stay well in the title hunt - just five points behind leaders Somerset with three to play.

  7. ouch!

    D'Oliveira gets a snorterpublished at 14:21 BST 5 September

    Kent 238 & 358 v Worcestershire 217 & 240-5 (target 380)

After heaving a wide long hop from Matt Quinn over backward point, the Kent seamer makes a point three balls later with one right on the money that spits up at Brett D'Oliveira.

The Worcestershire skipper is slightly squared up but gets in line and is struck a painful blow on the glove as he takes his bottom hand off the bat.

This pitch is still doing things.

  8. 6 runs

for Braceypublished at 14:19 BST 5 September

    Glos 237 & 326-5 v Derbyshire 278 - Glos lead by 285 runs

In the over after Boorman's dismissal James Bracey slaps Shoaib Bashir for six to move into the 90s.

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:16 BST 5 September

    Boorman c Guest b Andersson 1 (Glos 237 & 313-5 v Derbyshire 278)

A second wicket for Martin Andersson as he gets Tommy Boorman caught behind by Brooke Guest for one.

Boorman avoided a pair - just - he had a duck in the first innings and just a single in this.

Things are starting to move a little quicker here thankfully after it looked like the contest might be beginning to peter out.

  10. It's going to be a tense afternoonpublished at 14:09 BST 5 September

    Kent 238 & 358 v Worcestershire 217 & 240-5 (target 380)

    Matt Cole
    BBC Radio Kent

The pitch has flattened out, it doesn't have quite the spice it's had on the first three days when wickets fell in clumps.

The scoreboard says Kent are favourites but it's by no means a foregone conclusion.

It's going to be a tense afternoon. We've got sunshine and a little bit of nail biting.

Well done, Durham. What an incredible performance. We've been keeping track from a restaurant in Corfu. Perfect day

Just back home from County Ground Northants having watched the most inept batting performance. Durham in a class of their own.

  12. Notts lead by 86published at 14:04 BST 5 September

    Notts 451-8 dec v Leics 365

    What do Nottinghamshire do now?

Technically there are 46 overs remaining at Trent Bridge.

Swing the bat for 15 overs and try to get a lead of 200?

In all reality, they're probably going to take the eight points for a draw, plus their bonuses rather than give the Foxes a sniff of a chase.

  13. 'First wicket of the day finally falls'published at 14:04 BST 5 September

    Glos 237 & 308-4 v Derbyshire 278

    Dave Fletcher
    BBC Radio Derby Sport

Down the track is Hammond and he is caught at mid-wicket to complete silence.

The first wicket of the day finally falls.

It’s been a terrific knock by Hammond and they are looking as though they want to get on with it a bit more now.

It was a good diving catch away to his left by Montgomery.

  14. wicket

    Scriven lbw b McCann 54 (Notts 451-8 dec v Leics 365)

Finally Notts bring this Leicestershire first innings to a close!

Spinner Freddie McCann smacks Tom Scriven on the pad, bang in front, and he's on his way for a superb 54.

It ends a 10th-wicket stand of 106 with Josh Davey who's left stranded on 49.

  15. wicket

WICKETpublished at 13:57 BST 5 September

    Hammond c Montgomery b Andersson 118 (Glos 237 & 307-4 v Derbyshire 278)

    We have a wicket!

Miles Hammond's innings comes to an end as he is caught at mid-wicket by Matt Montgomery.

That's Derbyshire's first wicket of the day.

Hammond departs for 118 and his innings has pushed him up to fifth in the Division Two run-scoring charts with a total of 811.

In second place on the list is team-mate James Bracey who is not out on 82.

  16. 300 runs

300 up for Glospublished at 13:55 BST 5 September

    Glos 237 & 302-3 v Derbyshire 278 - Glos lead by 261 runs

After a lengthy lull in the game, Miles Hammond decides he wants to go big and smacks Shoaib Bashir for six.

An expensive over from the spinner as Glos move past 300.

Derbyshire rattled through the overs earlier and are ahead of the over rate - but that has significantly slowed down with the BBC commentary team at the game estimating we've had six overs in the past 40 minutes.

They're back out after lunch in Nottingham.

Tom Scriven and Josh Davey resume batting for Leicestershire - their last-wicket stand now worth 104.

The pair are 19 away from setting a new 10th-wicket record for the county.

Derbyshire are perfectly within their rights to basically stop, which is what’s happening here. It’s up to Gloucestershire to put their foot down.

  19. That's Matthew Waite all overpublished at 13:50 BST 5 September

    Kent 238 & 358 v Worcestershire 217 & 229-5

    Frank Watson
    BBC Hereford & Worcester

That's Matthew Waite all over. It's wide and he just cracks it through the covers for four with the minimum of fuss.

He has a heavy piece of willow and when he hits it it stay hits. There's never any flamboyance.

It's just off you go, whack, four runs. A great shot.

    Kent 238 & 358 v Worcestershire 217 & 228-5 (target 380)

After a couple of quiet overs, Matthew Waite breaks the tension with an unfussy cuff through the covers off Matt Milnes.

A lot of bottom hand in that. That's his third boundary. He's up to 17.

The stand with his captain worth 27 now.

Kent still plugging away - they need five more.
