They added 68 runs during the afternoon but lost three wickets in the process, including in-form Joe Clarke, who fell to Jaydev Unadkat for 36.

Liam Patterson-White is 14 not out and is now carrying a lot of responsibility if Notts are to get anywhere near a score that will earn them a batting point or two.

    Surrey 51-3 v Glamorgan 132

Dan Lawrence takes a single off Ray Toole from the final ball of the afternoon session at the Oval.

Glamorgan collapsed to 132 all out after lunch - with Auqib Nabi taking 4-36 - but it has not been plain sailing for Surrey with the bat.

Dom Sibley fell to early to Timm van der Gugten and two wickets for Zain-ul-Hassan, including Ollie Pope for a first-ball duck, have lifted Glamorgan spirits.

Lawrence is six not out at the interval, with Ryan Patel - who has played a couple of glorious cover drives for fours - on 17.

Really unfortunate for Pope there; looks an awful lot like it's moved past his bat and clipped his thigh pad. When it's not going your way, it's really not going your way.
