  1. Play resumes at Headingleypublished at 15:33 BST 15 September

    Yorkshire 182-7 v Somerset

Jonny Bairstow will face the first ball of the session unbeaten on 59.

Jake Ball was the unlucky bowler - and he has the ball now.

He was dropped by James Rew this afternoon - who nonetheless went on to take a superb diving catch to dismiss George Hill before the break.

Kuldeep Yadav is at the other end on seven.

  2. Postpublished at 15:32 BST 15 September

    Surrey 38-1 v Glamorgan 132

Not quite as convincing as his previous boundary.

Ryan Patel drives again at Timm van der Gugten and a thick edge flies away where gully would have been - had there been one.

  3. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:31 BST 15 September

    Stanley b Khaled 0 (Kent v Lancashire 161-9)

    Emphatic.

Khaled Ahmed is too quick for Mitch Stanley and middle stump is sent flying.

Four for Khaled and a second-ball duck for Stanley.

Lancashire are on the brink in this first innings and here comes Jimmy Anderson.

  4. Postpublished at 15:30 BST 15 September

    Leicestershire 4-0 v Hampshire 214

A run for Rishi Patel, pushing Kyle Abbott to fine leg for a single.

Abbott is round the wicket to Sheridon Gumbs, trying to cramp the opener for room.

Gumbs defends. He gets an inside edge on to the pad but survives.

He gets off the mark via his 10th ball, glancing to fine leg.

  5. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:27 BST 15 September

    Bailey c Muyeye b Milnes 6 (Kent v Lancashire 160-8)

Kent are getting through the Lancashire batting line-up.

Tom Bailey tries to drive from Matt Milnes but can only succeed in edging to Tawanda Muyeye in the slips.

Milnes has 4-28 and Kent need two more wickets to complete the first part of the job in this match.

  6. Postpublished at 15:27 BST 15 September

    Leicestershire 2-0 v Hampshire 214

Rishi Patel is off the mark first ball with a two off Kyle Abbott, working up a good pace that belies his 39 years.

Sheridon Gumbs on his debut season for Leicester faces James Fuller, bowling around the wicket.

Bounce and movement away for Fuller - and that's some awkward fending from Gumbs.

He defends solidly into the off side to end a maiden over.

  7. 100 runs

100 for Wayne Madsenpublished at 15:26 BST 15 September

    Northants v Derbyshire 209-6

Wayne Madsen completes his second century of the season.

The 42-year-old has more than 600 runs this campaign and his highest score this season currently stands at 119.

  8. 150 runs

150 up for Lancashirepublished at 15:26 BST 15 September

    Kent v Lancashire 158-7

Lancashire have moved past 150 in Canterbury. They'll want to put a fair few more on the board to recover this first innings slightly though.

  9. Postpublished at 15:24 BST 15 September

    Surrey 30-1 v Glamorgan 132

    That was rather nice.

Classic cover-drive technique by Ryan Patel brings him four runs off Timm van der Gugten.

Straight out of the coaching manual - well, maybe not the Baz and KP one.

  10. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:23 BST 15 September

    Clarke c Carter b Karvelas 36 (Sussex v Notts 117-5)

    That is THE big wicket.

Joe Clarke has looked in fine fettle but he's gone and Ari Karvelas finally gets the wicket he deserves for his bowling display today.

Clarke hits it with power through cover but Oli Carter gets down well to take a low catch.

The main man for Notts goes for 36.

  11. Leicestershire begin their first inningspublished at 15:23 BST 15 September

    Leicestershire 0-0 v Hampshire 214

Kyle Abbott will bowl from the Bennett End to Leicester opener Rishi Patel, who is in fact Hampshire-bound next year.

Sheridon Gumbs starts at the non-striker's end.

  12. Postpublished at 15:22 BST 15 September

    Sussex v Notts 117-4

Joe Clarke continues to move along nicely and moves to 36 for Notts. Mitch Hay is on two from 22 balls.

The defending champions are 117-4 at the 40-over mark.

  13. 200 runs

200 up for Derbyshirepublished at 15:21 BST 15 September

    Northants v Derbyshire 203-6

A four from Ben Aitchison sends Derbyshire over 200 runs in their first innings.

Aitchison is on 38 and Madsen is just three runs away from a century.

The duo have put on almost 100 runs together.

  14. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:17 BST 15 September

    Shetty c Benjamin b Milnes 7 (Kent v Lancashire 146-7)

Another wicket for Kent and another for Matt Milnes.

He finds Arav Shetty's outside edge and Chris Benjamin takes the catch behind the stumps.

George Balderson and Tom Bailey, Lancashire's number eight and nine, are both new to the crease.

  15. Postpublished at 15:17 BST 15 September

    Sussex v Notts 110-4

Ari Karvelas has bowled very well for Sussex but still has nothing to show for it in terms of wickets.

Just the one from the over and a couple of beauties in there to Mitch Hay.

The South African has figures of 0-7 from nine overs, with four maidens.

  16. 'High class' century from Agarwalpublished at 15:15 BST 15 September

    Durham 264-5 v Worcestershire

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

"It was a century high on class and low in risk" said fellow commentator Melinda Farrell. And she's not wrong.

Mayank Argarwal reached his 100 in 121 balls and struck 19 fours in the process. It's been lovely to watch. Can't really think of a single scare for him today.

It's the 21st century of his first-class career and his first for Durham. He added 105 for the fourth wicket with Ben Stokes (50) earlier and 71 for the fifth with Will Rhodes (27).

Agarwal was brought in for the final four matches because David Bedingham had to head home to South Africa. Durham were already in a very strong position to go up when he arrived.

When Yorkshire signed him for the final three games of last season he helped to keep them in Division One, not least when he scored 175 and sent Durham down.

There's an irony in him helping them back to the top flight this season, albeit in a small way.

  17. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:13 BST 15 September

    Sibley c Kellaway b van der Gugten 7 (Surrey 22-1 v Glamorgan 132)

Dom Sibley steers Timm van der Gugten to mid-wicket for his first boundary, but there won't be any more.

The next ball leaves him off the pitch and is degde to Ben Kellaway at first slip, who clings onto the chance.

Ryan Patel will bat at three.

  18. Tea at Headingleypublished at 15:12 BST 15 September

    Yorkshire 182-7 v Somerset

Kuldeep Yadav leaves Migael Pretorius outside off stump.

Another one passes through to Rew and that's tea.

A good tussle here as Somerset fight back from Yorkshire's 168-5.

Jonny Bairstow was dropped by James Rew this afternoon, but the latter took a superb diving catch to dislodge George Hill off the bowling of Pretorius for 45.

Dom Bess followed, also caught Rew off the next ball.

Jonny Bairstow survives on 59 with Kuldeep now on seven.

  19. Postpublished at 15:11 BST 15 September

    Kent v Lancashire 146-6

Matt Milnes with another maiden - his eighth from 14 overs and he has figures of 2-22.

With two bowling points already in the bag for Kent, they will be keen to make it three as soon as possible.

  20. Latest from Bristolpublished at 15:09 BST 15 September

Zafar Gohar pushes Ollie Price for a single and Middlesex's total reaches 200 in the 56th over against Gloucestershire.

Last week's centurion, Harry Duke, is the other not out batter.
