    Kent v Lancashire 129-5

Matty Hurst pulls the first ball of Keith Dudgeon's over away for four before picking up two more through the leg-side.

And then yet more runs for Hurst, albeit in slightly more fortuitous fashion, as he edges through the air and away for four over the slip cordon.

That's 10 runs from the over for Lancashire and Hurst moves onto 27.

Another one gone in Bristol, with Ryan Higgins caught at second slip off Matt Taylor for 15 - Middlesex are 181-6 in the 50th over against Gloucestershire.

Durham appear to have shrugged off the loss of Ben Stokes are 232-4 in the 53nd over against Worcestershire and Mayank Agarwal (82*) and Colin Ackermann (21*) have recently posted a 50 stand.

    Leicestershire v Hampshire 200-9

200 might be a useful score on this pitch, where we've seen movement and a bit of bounce.

Ian Holland bowls to Ben Brown who gets Hampshire to 200 in the 51st over with a single dropped into the off side moving forward.

A very handy innings under severe pressure from the Hampshire captain, now on 77.

    Surrey 0-0 v Glamorgan 132

What can the Glamorgan attack get out of this pitch?

They need to produce something special or their team are going to find themselves facing a big second-innings deficit.

Timm van der Gugten will take the new ball. Surrey skipper Rory Burns is on strike.

  6. Postpublished at 14:44 BST 15 September

    Yorkshire 166-5 v Somerset

Width from Lewis Gregory and George Hill allows that to go through to keeper James Rew.

A straighter ball is driven down the ground neatly for four.

He's on 44. One of the best shots of the day.

  7. Postpublished at 14:43 BST 15 September

    Sussex v Notts 90-3

Four more for Nottinghamshire who will be looking for these two batters at the crease to put together a partnership.

Jaydev Unadkat sends it down short and wide this time and Joe Clarke crunches away for four off the back foot to the cover boundary.

Notts have added 19 runs to their total in the 20 minutes since the belated restart.

  8. Postpublished at 14:40 BST 15 September

    Sussex v Notts 86-3

Short and wide of off stump from Sean Hunt and Jack Haynes cashes in by cutting away with real power to the rope.

Haynes then picks up two more, pushing through extra cover.

  9. Postpublished at 14:40 BST 15 September

    Leicestershire v Hampshire 194-9

A bit of luck for Manny Lumsden, who scoops a short, wide ball from Nathan Gilchrist safely wide of the slips for four.

Ben Brown gets a single off Rehan Ahmed at the other end. A quicker ball from the leg spinner is cut by Lumsden to deep point for one.

Ben Brown sweeps and gets an inside edge past keeper Ben Cox for four rather streaky runs. That was swept outside the line.

It's not how though. It's how many.

    Mousley c Walter b Cook 5 (Essex 134 v Warwickshire 12-2)

    Well then...

Warwickshire find themselves two down very early on here in Chelmsford.

Dan Mousley edges Sam Cook to Paul Walter at first slip to follow Rob Yates back into the pavilion.

Sam Hain joins Zen Malik - can these two see the Bears through a tricky spell early in the innings here?

50 for Jonny Bairstowpublished at 14:36 BST 15 September

    Yorkshire 159-5 v Somerset

Clipped around the corner by the Yorkshire captain for a single to reach 50 off 74 balls with eight fours.

That's his fourth score of 50 or more for the Tykes this season with a best of 120, made on this ground against Surrey in May.

  12. Glamorgan all out at the Ovalpublished at 14:35 BST 15 September

    Surrey v Glamorgan 132

Bowled out for 69 and 65 last week, another disappointing Glamorgan innings comes to an end at the Oval as Mir Hamza is caught at cover off Tom Lawes for three.

They lasted just 45.5 overs, with Jack Hope-Bell (33), Asa Tribe (31) and Ben Kellaway (22) the only batters to make it past 20.

Lawes, Dan Worrall and Matt Fisher take two wickets each but the star performer for Surrey was Auqib Nabi, who finishes with 4-36.

Victory here will go a long way to securing Surrey's top-flight status for next season and they will now be focusing on a establishing big lead.

Glamorgan playing like they have decided they want to be relegated. Batting in last 3 games has been a disgrace.

    Bohannon c Benjamin b Quinn 20 (Kent v Lancashire 115-5)

One ball after pulling Matt Quinn for four, Josh Bohannon is gone for Lancashire.

Quinn has varied his length between short and full. This one is pitched up and it finds a thin edge on the way through to Chris Benjamin.

Lancashire's second-highest partnership of the innings was worth 33 runs, but now it's over.

Nice shot by Josh Bohannon to mark the 50th delivery he's faced in this first innings for Lancashire.

He pulls away to the mid-wicket boundary for four from Matt Quinn.

    Hampshire 182-9 v Leicestershire

If one issue has defined Leicestershire this season, it has been their inability to maintain pressure from their bowling attack.

Previously, a lot relied on Ben Green and Ian Holland to take wickets - and it never felt the change bowlers were able to maintain the pressure. Good spells of bowling wouldn't be backed up.

But with the addition of Nathan Gilchrist - on loan from Warwickshire - and Josh Davey (who sadly might have limped off injured), the Foxes appear to have a much more threatening attack.

Holland has bowled wonderfully, bowling with consistency and accuracy, and has already picked up a five-for. Gilchrist might follow him by skittling the tail.

Results are going Leicestershire's way elsewhere in their relegation battle, and they're doing well here.

Two issues. 1. We haven't seen Leicestershire bat on a pitch that looks like it has life in it, and 2. We still don't know if Leicestershire are going to lose 19 points from the Glamorgan game.

    Yorkshire 158-5 v Somerset

George Hill is forward to Jack Leach, driving the left arm spinner down the ground for one.

Jonny Bairstow reverse sweeps a four to move to 49.

  17. Postpublished at 14:33 BST 15 September

    Sussex v Notts 79-3

Joe Clarke isn't going to miss out on those.

It's short and straying down leg from Sean Hunt and Clarke is quick to pounce to pull it away for four behind square.

It's a good reply from Hunt with four dots.

Clarke, Division One's leading run scorer, moves onto 12*.

  18. Postpublished at 14:31 BST 15 September

    Leicestershire v Hampshire 181-9

Rehan Ahmed is going to have a bowl.

The second ball of the over is driven behind backward point, seemingly off the toe of the bat for four.

A single is chopped to backward point.

Four runs to Ben Brown via a reverse sweep to deep third.

Precious lower order runs for Hampshire.

Brown will keep the strike with a single cut behind point.

Is it just a rumour that Ben Stokes is due on loan at Nottinghamshire for the last round?

    David, Cotswolds

Good try, David, but just imagine the howls at Taunton and Edgbaston if that happened.

    Kent v Lancashire 110-4

Kent are absolutely convinced Josh Bohannon has nicked behind from Keith Dudgeon.

The entire team comes flooding onto the square to celebrate... but Bohannon is unmoved and, more importantly, so is the umpire.

    Not out is the call.
