Three slips in for Craig Overton, bowling to Kuldeep Yadav.

He ducks under a short ball and steers his next ball four wide of the slip cordon.

He made 175 against Durham for Yorkshire last year and now he has a Championship century for them as well.

A quality innings by the India Test player.

    Lumsden c Green b Holland 31 - Leicestershire v Hampshire 214

Ben Brown brings up the 50 partnership for the 10th wicket with a single driven into the off side - facing finger spinner Ajaz Patel.

More of a golf swing half forward from Manny Lumsden, who skims a ball past the outstretched hand of Ajaz Patel and down the ground for four runs.

Lumsden goes in the next over. Leg side from Ian Holland and chipped via a forward push to Ben Green on the leg side.

Ben Brown is stranded on 80 not out.

Holland finishes with 6-38. Back here in 20 minutes.

    Essex 134 v Warwickshire 32-3

It's interestingly poised, where does the game go from here?

Thirteen wickets have already fallen so things are moving on quickly.

Warwickshire picked up three bonus points for bowling Essex out but they would definitely have been targeting batting bonus points too to keep themselves in the Division One title hunt.

At this stage, reaching 250 runs seems a long way off.

As for Essex, they need points to ensure they maintain their top flight status and sense the opportunity here.

It feels like a very important session even this early in the game.

    Hurst c Muyeye b Khaled 37 (Kent v Lancashire 146-6)

Matty Hurst is gone but he looks absolutely furious.

Khaled Ahmed finds the edge and it goes low to Tawanda Muyeye in the slips.

Hurst doesn't think it carried and originally stood his ground, but the umpires eventually send him back to the hut.

The Lancashire batter continues to show his frustration as he walks off, saying something to the Kent fielders, but replays show that it definitely carried.

    Sussex v Notts 106-4

Joe Clarke with a text book cover drive to push Jaydev Unadkat away for four.

Clarke is 26* and has 1,262 runs and counting to his name in the County Championship this season.

    Surrey 10-0 v Glamorgan 132

You can only admire Dom Sibley's unflappable temperament.

He is beaten by an excellent delivery from Timm van der Gugten which continues swinging away after it has gone past the bat - but won't dwell on that for a second.

  8. dropped catch

Hay dropped on 1published at 15:00 BST 15 September

    Sussex v Notts 102-4

Oh dear, how costly will this prove to be?

Mitch Hay prods at one outside off from Ari Karvelas and Charlie Tear puts down a sitter at first slip.

Karvelas has probably deserved a wicket with figures of 0-4 from seven overs... but he'll have to wait for one.

  9. Postpublished at 14:59 BST 15 September

    Kent v Lancashire 141-5

The clouds have gathered overhead in Canterbury and the floodlights have come on.

Let's hope that's as bad as it gets weather wise.

  10. Postpublished at 14:57 BST 15 September

    Yorkshire 169-7 v Somerset

Kuldeep Yadav averts the Migael Pretorius hat trick turning the leg side ball fine for one.

What would be a par score from here?

  11. Postpublished at 14:55 BST 15 September

    Surrey 5-0 v Glamorgan 132

How did that not take the edge?

Absolutely superb delivery from Mir Hamza leaves Dom Sibley off the pitch but misses the bat by a millimetre or two.

    Haynes c Clark b Unadkat 18 (Sussex v Notts 101-4)

    A big wicket for Sussex.

Jack Haynes pushes forward to Jaydev Unadkat. It strikes him on the pad via an inside edge and loops up to Tom Clark at second slip to take an easy catch.

Haynes didn't look to be complaining too much as he walked off, which would suggest it was the right call.

Notts slightly up against it here.

    Bess c Rew b Pretorius 0 - Yorkshire 168-7 v Somerset

Dom Bess unfurls a flashing drive, nicked and caught!

First ball! Migael Pretorius is on a hat trick!

Here comes Kuldeep Yadav, who averts the hat trick turning the leg side ball fine for one.

    A loose shot from Bess.

  14. dropped catch

Shetty dropped on 4published at 14:53 BST 15 September

    Kent v Lancashire 134-5

Khaled Ahmed finds the outside edge of Arav Shetty's bat but Zak Crawley has put it down at first slip for Kent.

Should have taken that really and the chance goes begging for the hosts.

  15. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:52 BST 15 September

    Hill c Rew b Pretorius 45 - Yorkshire 168-6 v Somerset

Edged! Gone! brilliant catch from James Rew, diving in front of first slip, ending a sixth wicket partnership of 83 with Jonny Bairstow.

George Hill goes for 45 via a loose defensive prod in an otherwise very good innings.

Great comeback in a new spell from Migael Pretorius.

Time for Dom Bess to have a bat against his former club.

  16. First batting point for Durhampublished at 14:52 BST 15 September

    Durham 250-5 v Worcs

Colin Ackermann square cuts Tom Taylor for four and the Durham total reaches 250 at the Riverside.

It's his final scoring shot, though, as Taylor ends the over by finding the edge and Ben Allison takes the catch at second slip.

  17. 100 runs

100 up for Nottspublished at 14:51 BST 15 September

    Sussex v Notts 101-3

Jack Haynes punches off the back foot from Jaydev Unadkat and it races away for four to take Notts to three figures in their first innings.

WICKETpublished at 14:51 BST 15 September

    Malik b Snater 5 (Essex 134 v Warwickshire 20-3)

The Bears are in a spot of bother.

Their innings is mirroring Essex's early batting struggles this morning with both sides finding runs very hard to come by.

Zen Malik had been batting watchfully but gets out in disappointing fashion. He looks set to leave Snater's delivery but leaves his bat hanging and ends up playing on to his own stumps.

George Bell is the only batter so far today who has shown he can handle this pitch as the Bears top order falls cheaply.

  19. Postpublished at 14:50 BST 15 September

    Surrey 1-0 v Glamorgan 132

    He felt that.

Dom Sibley drives straight back down the pitch and Timm van der Gugten makes the save with foot or shin in his follow-through.

Undeterred, van der Gugten produces an excellent off-cutter for his final delivery of the over but it's an excellent leave by Sibley who lifts the bat out of harm's way.

  20. Postpublished at 14:50 BST 15 September

    Sussex v Notts 97-3

Joe Clarke showing his class once more as he flicks it around the corner from Sean Hunt and away for four more.

He goes to 22 from 30 balls.
