Vito Coppola

With champion credentials, endless energy and plenty of Italian flair, Vito Coppola has certainly made his mark on the Strictly Ballroom!

Vito started dancing at just six years old and was already winning national championships by the age of 10. He went on to become an 11-time Italian Latin American Champion, a three-time World Championship finalist and European Cup Winner.

In 2021, Vito left the competitive dance world as one of its highest-ranking athletes – but his winning ways didn’t stop there! Before arriving on Strictly, he competed on Ballando con le Stelle, the Italian version of the show, and lifted the trophy.

Vito joined the Strictly family in 2022 and made an incredible debut alongside singer and radio presenter Fleur East, with the pair dancing all the way to the Grand Final and finishing as runners-up.

He went one better in 2023! Partnered with actress Ellie Leach, Vito danced his way to Glitterball glory and the pair were crowned Strictly Come Dancing Champions.

In 2024, Vito continued his impressive Strictly run with actress and comedian Sarah Hadland, making it all the way to the Grand Final once again.

Vito returned in 2025 alongside model and disability campaigner Ellie Goldstein, bringing his trademark enthusiasm, passion and plenty of Italian energy back to the dancefloor.

With a Glitterball Trophy and three consecutive Strictly Finals under his belt, Vito is back and ready to bring even more fun, flair and fantastic footwork to the Ballroom!
