Neil Jones

Neil Jones has been part of the Strictly family since 2016, starring in countless memorable Pro routines and bringing plenty of fun and dance expertise to the Ballroom and It Takes Two.

After several years as part of the professional line-up, Neil was paired with his first celebrity partner in 2019, taking to the dancefloor with former England footballer Alex Scott. The pair enjoyed a fantastic run, making it all the way to the Quarter Final before bowing out during Musicals Week.

Born in a British Army camp in Münster, Germany, Neil started dancing almost as soon as he could walk! He began ballet classes at just three years old, marking the beginning of a lifelong passion for dance.

Neil went on to train in tap, modern, Ballroom and Latin, before becoming a hugely successful competitive dancer. Alongside fellow Strictly Pro Katya Jones, he became a four-time undefeated British National Champion and three-time World Amateur Latin Champion.

Back in the Strictly Ballroom, Neil partnered actor Nina Wadia in 2021 before continuing to dazzle as part of the professional line-up in 2022 and 2023.

In 2024, Neil returned to the competition alongside singer and actress Toyah Willcox. The pair brought plenty of personality to the dancefloor before their Strictly journey came to an end in Week Two.

In 2025, Neil remained an important part of the Strictly professional line-up, bringing his experience and talent to the show’s spectacular Pro performances.

With a decade of Strictly under his belt, champion credentials and plenty of personality, Neil is back and ready for even more Ballroom fun!
