  1. goal

GOAL: Norwich 0-1 Watfordpublished at 12:42 GMT 31 October

    Myron Boadu (10 mins)

    Where has that come from?

They have been under almost incessant pressure and yet Watford take the lead.

Hector Kyprianou plays an intelligent ball out to Iker Bravo who spots the run of Myron Boadu to beat Daniel Grimshaw.

A first goal for the Hornets for the Dutchman.

  2. Postpublished at 12:42 GMT 31 October

    Stoke 0-0 Preston

Preston are starting to impose themselves on the match by getting their foot on the ball.

That gets the Stoke fans to raise their octaves up a notch or two to try and push their team forward.

Robert Bozenik wins a free-kick for his side but the delivery is poor and easily dealt with by a Preston head.

  3. 'Ladefoged's so unlucky'published at 12:41 GMT 31 October

    Lincoln 0-0 Birmingham

That was such lovely build-up play.

It's a good first-time strike by Mikkel Ladefoged and he's so unlucky.

He got himself into a really good position to get the effort on target.

  4. Postpublished at 12:41 GMT 31 October

    Norwich 0-0 Watford

    More good build-up from Norwich.

Andre Brooks squares the ball to Sam Field on the edge of the Watford area and the stand-in skipper curls an effort inches wide.

Watford are on the back foot.

  6. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 12:39 GMT 31 October

    Lincoln 0-0 Birmingham

So close to an opener for the home side as big striker Mikkel Ladefoged crashes a low shot against the post from 20 yards out with a crisp strike!

  7. Postpublished at 12:39 GMT 31 October

    Norwich 0-0 Watford

Norwich have made the better start with Jack Stacey getting forward on numerous occasions.

He wins the home side a third corner inside the opening six minutes but again Watford do enough to get it clear.

Norwich have failed to score in their past two home league games.

  8. Postpublished at 12:37 GMT 31 October

    Lincoln 0-0 Birmingham

First shot of the day goes the way of the away side.

A Liam Millar free-kick is cleared as far as Alex Cochrane 25 yards out and his shot flies a few yards wide.

  9. Postpublished at 12:36 GMT 31 October

    Norwich 0-0 Watford

Jack Stacey sends in an early cross for Norwich which Watford skipper Mattie Pollock heads behind for a corner.

The visitors deal with the initial set piece but when Jacob Wright puts a low cross in, Mathias Kvistgaarden cheekily flicks it towards goal and Federico Ravaglia makes a smart save down at his near post.

  10. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 12:36 GMT 31 October

    Stoke 0-0 Preston

Stoke have started this match on the front foot.

A ball is sent in by Jack McGlynn and there's a bit of grappling in the area around Robert Bozenik but not enough for a penalty.

  11. Postpublished at 12:35 GMT 31 October

    Lincoln 0-0 Birmingham

Birmingham have stood up to the first long free-kick and long throw of the day from the home team.

I dare say they'll need to manage a lot more of those situations across the course of the afternoon.

Lincoln aren't afraid to be direct and it's something that has been hugely successful for them.

  12. YELLOW CARDpublished at 12:34 GMT 31 October

    Stoke 0-0 Preston

A yellow card in just the second minute for Preston's Brad Potts.

And it's a definite yellow at any stage of the match. Potts is guilty of a late lunge on Stoke's Ethan Galbraith in midfield.

Stoke City make one change from the side that started the goalless draw with Bristol City.

Manager Mark Robins hands striker Robert Bozenik a start as Lamine Cisse misses out through injury.

Preston North End boss Graham Alexander makes two alterations from the starters which drew with West Bromwich Albion.

Stan Mills and Alfie Devine drop to the bench and are replaced by Callum Lang and Jordan Thompson.

Birmingham City boss Chris Davies said he "expected more" from his side in their 1-0 defeat at Cardiff City last week and to that end has made three changes from the team that started that game. Ethan Laird, Patrick Roberts and August Priske all return to the side.

Here's how the Championship table looks before a ball is kicked on the final day of October.

Middlesbrough lead the way and the form guide will tell you they will be heavy favourites against Charlton today, but football doesn't always go the way you think it will - just ask Arsenal.

If Kim Hellberg's men do slip up there are a host of teams coming up on the rails behind them including Swansea, who are seeking a return to form after two defeats, and West Ham who host West Brom.

Towards the bottom there is no time to settle in for new Burnley boss Fabio Celestini who has to change Burnley's fortunes around quickly, while bottom two Derby and Preston are in desperate need of goals, wins, and general positivity around their clubs again.

  20. Blades sharper than toothless Dragonspublished at 12:15 GMT 31 October

    FT: Sheff Utd 1-0 Wrexham

The Championship weekend got under way last night with Sheffield United's narrow win over Wrexham.

Ben Brereton Diaz's first goal of the season was enough to give the Blades the points against Phil Parkinson's midtable men.

The Hollywood-backed outfit are six points off the top eight after just three wins in their opening 13 games and host promotion-chasing Middlesbrough and Wolves in their next two.
