GOAL: Stoke 2-0 Prestonpublished at 13:44 GMT 31 October

    Jack McGlynn (53 mins)

Stoke get their all-important second goal they were looking for.

North End give the ball away cheaply in their own half and Robert Bozenik shifts the ball on to Jack McGlynn.

The American gets the ball back from Ethan Galbraith and sweeps the ball first-time with his left foot into the far corner leaving Daniel Iversen no chance once more.

Their second half so far has merited that goal.

  2. 'What a volley from Chrisene!'published at 13:43 GMT 31 October

    Norwich 1-2 Watford

    Cedric Anselin
Former Norwich midfielder on BBC Radio Norfolk

That's more like it. A bit of pressure in the opposition box and what a volley from Ben Chrisene!

A very good start to the second half.

  3. Postpublished at 13:43 GMT 31 October

    Stoke 1-0 Preston

Not the steadiest of second halves so far for Preston keeper Daniel Iversen.

After coming out and completely missing a cross a couple of minutes ago, he flaps at a cross and Stoke recycle the ball.

  4. goal

GOAL: Norwich 1-2 Watfordpublished at 13:43 GMT 31 October

    Ben Chrisene (53 mins)

    Back in it.

Federico Ravaglia beats away Jose Cordoba's header but Watford cannot get the ball away properly and Ben Chrisene thumps home a superb volley to drag Norwich back into this game.

  5. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:42 GMT 31 October

    Lincoln 0-1 Birmingham

Birmingham have been forced into a change at the break and it's a big one.

Ryan Allsop is on in goal for James Beadle, who took a couple of heavy landings.

We're finally back under way for the second half of this game.

  6. Postpublished at 13:41 GMT 31 October

    Norwich 0-2 Watford

Norwich are almost in down the left.

Paris Maghoma slips in Anthony Musaba and Federico Ravaglia makes a brave save at his feet.

  7. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 13:41 GMT 31 October

    Stoke 1-0 Preston

Stoke have started the second half dominantly.

Luca Bombino gets down the left and his low ball is a dangerous one but well cleared by Preston for a corner.

The ball is sent in by Ethan Galbraith, and Luke Graham gets there before Daniel Iversen who commits himself to the punch, but the defender's header hits the outside of the post and goes wide.

The home side close to doubling their lead. Preston living very dangerously.

  8. Postpublished at 13:38 GMT 31 October

    Stoke 1-0 Preston

    Preston concede a needless corner.

It's a bobbly pass back to goalkeeper Daniel Iversen who can only shin the ball behind.

And it's an excellent delivery into the box from Ethan Galbraith which is well dealt with by a Preston head.

  9. Postpublished at 13:37 GMT 31 October

    Norwich 0-2 Watford

The two goals Norwich conceded in the first half makes it 21 they have let in from open play - the worst record in the Championship this season.

For all their early dominance in this one, their poor defensive record was exposed twice by Watford who may fancy adding to their tally if the home side start pushing more players forward.

  10. HALF-TIME SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:36 GMT 31 October

    Stoke 1-0 Preston

    Half-time change for the visitors.

Thierry Small is on for the second half, replacing Brad Potts who picked up an early yellow card.

  11. Postpublished at 13:35 GMT 31 October

    Norwich 0-2 Watford

A bit of a surprise, but Norwich have elected not to make changes for the start of the second 45.

They have a long road ahead of them to get back into this.

Let's get back to work, folks.

  13. 'It's been a really good performance'published at 13:34 GMT 31 October

    HT: Norwich 0-2 Watford

    Derek Payne
Former Watford midfielder on BBC Three Counties Radio

Excellent from Watford. There's a lot of noise outside about the form and the group.

They've hit Norwich quickly but I'm happy how they've done defensively too. I think they've learnt from the Wolves defeat.

It's been a really good performance.

They just need to keep doing what they are doing. Win the ball and find your runner and that's what they've done.

Well, here we are again! I feel like a broken record with this Norwich team …. Just woeful against a very poor Watford team.

Struggling to understand how Ethan Laird is still on the pitch. In what world is kicking someone in the head not a red card?

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:24 GMT 31 October

    Lincoln 0-1 Birmingham

The away side have a lead at the end of a first half that has been very stop-start.

Mikkel Ladefoged had hit the post for the home side in the opening minutes before Danish compatriot August Priske gave the away side the lead with a composed finish after poor defending from the Imps.

Thereafter it's all been pretty scrappy stuff and the home crowd were adamant that Ethan Laird should have been sent off when he kicked Ben House in the head when challenging for a bouncing ball.

Deji Elerewe could and maybe should have levelled in the final minute of six added on but James Beadle made a super save.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:23 GMT 31 October

    Lincoln 0-1 Birmingham

TREMENDOUS reaction save from Blues goalkeeper James Beadle to deny Deji Elerewe from six yards out!

  18. Postpublished at 13:22 GMT 31 October

    Lincoln 0-1 Birmingham

Dom Jefferies sends a tame effort to James Beadle's near post as the Imps threaten for the first time a while.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:19 GMT 31 October

    Stoke 1-0 Preston

Half-time and Ben Wilmot's emphatic header separates the two sides in the Potteries.

It's been a game low on attacking quality but Stoke made their moment count when it came around.

Jack McGlynn's excellent inswinging ball was met by a thumping Wilmot header which gave Preston keeper Daniel Iversen no chance.

    Preston's troubles continue.

  20. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:19 GMT 31 October

    Norwich 0-2 Watford

After having to deal with three Norwich corners inside the opening six minutes it looked like Watford might be in for a long afternoon but Myron Boadu's brace - his first goals for the Hornets - have put Alessio Dionisi's side in the driving seat.

Hector Kyprianou's excellent pass found Iker Bravo who in turn played through Boadu for the opener.

The second was all the Dutchman's own doing as he turned home defender Jose Cordoba one way and then the other before finding the bottom corner.

Watford are on course for a first away win of the season in the Championship while Norwich are staring down the barrel of a fourth successive home defeat in the league.
