    Stormers 0-0 Bristol

A strong scrum from both sides, and Bristol kick it in behind. However, Damian Willemse cleans it up with ease. It's been a frantic start from both sides so far.

    Stormers 0-0 Bristol

Bristol captain Kieran Marmion is getting clean and quick ball from the ruck.

It's not been a bad couple of minutes from Bristol and they have a scrum in the Stormers' half.

    Can they capitalise?

    Stormers 0-0 Bristol

Bristol deal with a well-taken kick-off and clear their lines.

From the line-out, Damian Willemse runs a fine line in the middle of the park to cut through Bristol's defence, but the away side recover well.

In the other 13:00 BST kick-off, Bulls scored eight tries in a convincing 56-20 victory against Stade Francais.

Cheswill Jooste ended with a hat-trick of tries, having crossed for his first inside 20 seconds, as the South African side clinched a bonus-point win.

This was the first match to be played in Pool Four, which also contains Bath, Northampton, Cardiff and Montpellier.

Bath host Montpellier at 20:00 BST and we will have live text and radio coverage of that game later on this page.

  11. 'A massive blessing' to play with my brother - Tuipulotupublished at 14:57 BST 17 October

    FT: Sale 27-47 Glasgow

Glasgow captain and player of the match Sione Tuipulotu tells Premier Sports: "To be honest I'm pretty exhausted. It was an emotional week - my brother got his debut and I was more excited for him to play than myself.

"We put out a massive team performance and we knew that was what it was going to take. Massively proud of the group.

"It genuinely can't get better - you dream of that when you're a kid. To play European rugby with my brother, I thank God for it. It's a massive blessing for me and my family. Stoked that he got his debut today.

"Franco puts us through our paces and we know we've got the legs to go into the second half."

  12. Full-time: Sale 27-47 Glasgowpublished at 14:52 BST 17 October

The game was in the balance for a long time, but Glasgow proved too strong for Sale in the end, running in seven tries to start their Champions Cup campaign in style.

Sale travel to Leinster in their next Champions Cup game in mid-December, before matches against Clermont Auvergne and Pau in January round off the pool phase.

Glasgow host Pau next, before playing Leicester and Clermont in the new year.

  13. try

Converted try: Sale 27-47 Glasgowpublished at 76 mins

    Ottavio Tuipulotu (con Dan Lancaster)

    Another!

Glasgow's maul is such a potent weapon and it's a first Warriors try for Ottavio Tuipulotu.

The conversion follows and I can safely say that Glasgow are home and hosed.

Because of the new rules in place in this year's Champions Cup, they'll also gain a bonus point if they prevent Sale from scoring another try in the final four minutes.

  14. try

Converted try: Sale 27-40 Glasgowpublished at 72 mins

    Ollie Smith (con George Horne)

This is another wonderful Glasgow try.

Sione Tuipulotu goes through a gap after a nice disguised pass from little brother Ottavio, and the centre does well to find Ollie Smith in support.

After the conversion, Glasgow have a 13-point lead with seven minutes left.

    Sale 27-33 Glasgow

Ottavio Tuipulotu - on for his Glasgow debut - safely delivers his first line-out and Warriors are on the attack again.

  16. try

    Arron Reed

I should have known better than to think this game was done.

Sale go straight down the other end and score in the corner through Arron Reed, who gets his second try of the match.

It's a lovely score, but George Ford's conversion attempt is dragged just wide.

  17. try

Converted try: Sale 22-33 Glasgowpublished at 65 mins

    Rory Darge (con George Horne)

That might be the telling blow.

Glasgow safely gather the line-out, set up a maul and it rumbles over the line.

Rory Darge dots down for the Warriors' fifth try and the conversion is good.

  18. Postpublished at 65 mins

    Sale 22-26 Glasgow

Another lovely Glasgow kick - this time from Kyle Rowe - puts Sale on the back foot and home full-back Joe Carpenter is bundled into touch.

  19. Postpublished at 62 mins

    Sale 22-26 Glasgow

Whenever one team scores, the other responds with gusto.

A superb grubber kick from Glasgow fly-half Dan Lancaster finds a tiny pocket of space and pins Sale in their own 22.

  20. try

Converted try: Sale 22-26 Glasgowpublished at 14:29 BST 17 October

    Rekeiti Ma'asi-White (con George Ford)

Sale do find the try their pressure deserved as Rekeiti Ma'asi-White goes under the posts after multiple phases.

The simple conversion duly follows and the gap is narrowed to four.
