    Stormers 21-7 Bristol

A gift. Cobus Reinach intercepts a pass and runs clear. That might be game over.

    However, they are checking something.

    Stormers 21-7 Bristol

Another chance goes begging for Bristol. Tobi Wilson does well to get an offload away but it is dropped.

    They need to score soon.

  6. try

Converted try - Clermont 16-22 Leinsterpublished at 42 mins

    Sam Prendergast (con Prendergast)

Leinster are back in front and it's a lovely try.

After Jack Conan stops a Clermont attack, Sam Prendergast breaks through the heart of the hosts and kicks to Jimmy O'Brien, who punts the ball forward, collects and feeds it back to Prendergast for the fly-half to run in under the posts.

He converts his own score and Leinster lead by six.

  7. Postpublished at 44 mins

    Stormers 21-7 Bristol

It looked certain to be a try for Bristol, but Matias Moroni's pass goes forward. Max Pepper looked certain to score.

We are back under way in South Africa.

  9. Half-timepublished at 16:03 BST 17 October

    Clermont 16-15 Leinster

Harry Plummer's third penalty of the afternoon is enough to edge Clermont back in front before half-time.

It hasn't been the greatest half of rugby but the French side won't care.

Leinster, however, are up against it.

  10. Half-timepublished at 16:03 BST 17 October

    HT: Stormers 21-7 Bristol

Bristol will be frustrated after that first-half performance. After a strong first five minutes, the away side put the Stormers on the back foot.

However, the hosts' flair and execution really shone through, especially Seabelo Senatla on the right wing.

Bristol will still have a man advantage going into the second half after JJ Kotze was shown a 20-minute red card for a high tackle on Bristol captain Kieran Marmion.

    Stormers 21-7 Bristol

Just a reminder of the 20-minute red card law...

If a red card is shown to a player, they must leave the pitch for the remainder of the match.

But 20 minutes after the red card is shown, the punished player can be replaced by a team-mate.

  12. 20-minute red card for Stormers' Kotzepublished at 34 mins

    Stormers 21-7 Bristol

Stormers' JJ Kotze flattens Kieran Marmion, but he catches the scrum-half high. There's head-to-head contact and the referee gives the hooker a 20-minute red card because of a high degree of danger.

This is a real chance for Bristol to take advantage of the extra man. Just over five minutes until half-time.

  13. Clermont and Leinster trade triespublished at 33 mins

    Clermont 13-12 Leinster

Captain Dan Sheehan pops up on the tryline to dot down for Leinster's second try with the bounce of the ball having deceived the scrambling Clermont defence.

However, after Sam Prendergast's failed conversion attempt, Clermont respond impressively, working the ball out to Joris Jurand, who dives over for the hosts' first try. Harry Plummer converts to edge the French side a point ahead.

Stormers' Damian Willemse is at the heart of it all again.

Bristol can't keep up with the pace of the hosts' attack.

This time Willemse darts through the middle, and a simple one-two allows Jonathan Roche to finish under the sticks.

  15. Postpublished at 15:45 BST 17 October

    Clermont 6-7 Leinster

A second Harry Plummer penalty has brought Clermont to within a point of Leinster in what has been a fairly ho-hum first half.

  16. try

Converted try - Stormers 14-7 Bristolpublished at 22 mins

    Joe Owen (con Sam Worsley)

    That's exactly what Bristol needed!

Bristol's Joe Owen finds himself on the wing and he knocks fly-half Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu out of his way to finish in the corner.

Sam Worsley isn't fazed with his conversion from the touchline as he kicks it straight down the middle for an extra two points.

  17. try

    Leolin Zas (con Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu)

Outrageous feet from Seabelo Senatla down the right-hand side.

He skips past three Bristol players and gifts a try to Leolin Zas.

Less than 20 minutes into the game and Bristol cannot contain Senatla...

    Tadhg Furlong (con Sam Prendergast)

Leinster have taken an early lead over Clermont through British and Irish Lions prop Tadhg Furlong. That came after wing Jimmy O'Brien thought he had scored the opening try but hadn't grounded the ball.

Clermont respond with a Harry Plummer penalty but Leinster lead.

    Stormers 7-0 Bristol

Well, it's fair to say the Stormers have settled into the game.

They nearly have their second try of the game, but the referee pulls it back for a knock on.

Bristol could do with taking the sting out of this.

  20. try

Converted try: Stormers 7-0 Bristolpublished at 7 mins

    Seabelo Senatla (con Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu)

    Lovely play from the Stormers.

The hosts finally get on the front foot and Seabelo Senatla flies through the Bristol defence to finish in the corner.

Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu knocks it over from the touchline to add two points from the conversion.
