Wales' Emma Finucane talking to TNT after winning her fourth gold medal: "I could easily have gone out in the semi-final, but I was confident at the start and I am proud how I rode it.

"The plan was to go out front with two laps to go, and then I could feel the girl on my hip so with half a lap to go I just absolutely went for it.

"There's a lot of pressure and expectation but I have enjoyed every minute of these Games. I want to use this momentum and take the spirit in the Welsh camp into the GB camp at the Worlds, but right now I just want to take it all in."

"I came into these Games wanting to win a gold," she said on Saturday.

"To do it three times, I did not think would happen to me.

"I just can't believe I'm living this life at the moment. I've got one more event, so we'll just see what I can do."
