After a loud and passionate response from the crowd to a tight opening ten minutes, the Hydro has fallen a bit flat as it appears Australia have found their flow.

Things have started to click for Australia at the Hydro.
They were down just a couple of minutes ago, but now they find themselves with a seven-point advantage with two minutes remaining in the first quarter.

Aussies look perhaps a little unsettled after the shock defeat to Jamaica yesterday. While this isn't the final England wanted to play, if they beat Australia to a bronze medal then that certainly would look a victory of sorts.

Ah that's a mistake from Amy Carter. She launches the ball up to Olivia Tchine, but she puts a bit too much pace on it and the Roses' goal shooter can't keep the ball in play.
Australia take advantage to move level again.

After going blow for blow in the early stages, England steal the ball in their own D and Olivia Tchine converts at the other end to put the Roses in front for the first time.

England netballer Eleanor Cardwell insisted yesterday there is still "so much juice left in the tank" to fight for bronze after they missed out on a place in the netball final.
The Roses lost their semi-final 61-54 to a powerful New Zealand side.
And shortly after, Jamaica stunned world champions Australia with a seismic 46-45 victory in the other semi-final.
