Sutton United have signed midfielder Jake Taylor from National League rivals Eastleigh.

The 33-year-old made 14 appearances for Eastleigh this season, scoring once in a 2-1 win over Southend United in September.

His previous clubs include Reading, Exeter City and Stevenage, and he won a solitary international cap for Wales against Cyprus in 2014.

"I've worked with the gaffer [Chris Agutter] before at Stevenage, so I know what he's about and what he expects," Taylor said.

Sutton United midfielder Jack Wadham could miss the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury.

The 22-year-old, who last featured in the National League Cup game with West Ham last month, is set to be out for between four and six months.

Meanwhile, team-mate Liam Vincent, also 22, is likely to be out for six weeks with and ankle injury.

"It's disappointing news but unfortunately it's also a part of the game," Sutton boss Chris Agutter told the club website.

"Both players will get the care and support they need throughout their recovery and we look forward to getting them back on the pitch and in a Sutton United shirt as soon as possible."

AFC Wimbledon's Jennings, 19, has made five first team appearances as a substitute and has spent time on loan at National League South side Farnborough.
