Harry Kane dropped into his own penalty area to pick up a pass from Manuel Neuer and Ezri Konsa followed him the full length of the pitch a couple of minutes ago.

Arsenal are being aggressive in the way they press Bayern.

Given Villa's injury record for defensive midfielders and full backs, playing Gomes at right back was always going to be tempting fate. Hope we have got some full backs in the youth team!

Nicolas Jackson lays the ball off for captain John McGinn, but his 20-yard effort is blocked.

Now Alysson whips in a cross which nobody can reach.

    Bayern Munich 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal have gone direct quite a few times in this opening quarter-of-an-hour so that's very clearly a deliberate tactic as they try to catch out the Bayern defence.

No proper chances yet at the Bernabeu with Real Madrid and Leipzig still goalless.

It's almost like he's been kind of getting through [games], and still being effective. That's how good of a player Bukayo Saka is because he's not at his best physically, but he's still having a decent impact for Arsenal. Unfortunately this could be a significant layoff.

After that change, Noni Madueke moves to the right wing with Eberechi Eze on the left.

It's the more natural position for Madueke.

Unlike a lot of teams from the smaller leagues who reach the Champions League, most of Viking's team are from Norway - including eight of the starting XI.

They have a Dane, a New Zealander and an Australian in their team too.

Maybe back of the knee? He caught the ball on the pass really strangely, it was a bizarre move, the pass, and maybe he has done something to his knee or his quad.

Makeshift Villa right-back Joao Gomes seems to have hurt himself while tackling the overlapping Henrik Heggheim. Was good defending but at what cost?

That doesn't look good. Bukayo Saka is waving at the bench after going down.

Bad news for Arsenal early doors. Bukayo Saka is sat on the pitch and looks like he is going to have to go off. His ankle looks to turn awkwardly as he made a pass.
