    Arsenal 0-0 Lille

The first corner comes to nothing. They win another. And this one really comes to nothing as it ends up back with David Raya.

  2. Postpublished at 20:44 BST

Julian Alvarez has a bit of space just outside the box and he takes up the invitation, thumping a shot towards goal that goes just over.

Heaven looks composed on the ball. Calm, confident and doesn’t panic. A real bright spot in this United side so far tonight.

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Manchester United

BBC Sport Spanish football reporter at Metropolitano Stadium

The problem is by the time Fernandes had decided to not play the cross in and to play it around, Atletico had got everyone behind the ball and United lost possession.

That was a chance for United but it was the wrong decision by Fernandes.

One of the worst players for Man Utd at the moment is Bruno, his passing is off target, he’s being beaten off the ball easily and when he looses the ball he just throws his arm up and stops! As a captain he needs to show more fight!

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Manchester United

Bruno Fernandes has been quiet and when he has had the ball he has been guilty of making the wrong decisions. Twice just now he's turned back to play a safe ball back when he could have chipped it into the box.

  8. Viking double lead over Bayernpublished at 20:40 BST

    Viking 2-0 Bayern Munich

Viking are in dreamland right now. Can you believe it?

It's awful stuff at the back from Bayern but Viking won't care one bit as Peter Christiansen calmly slots beyond Jonas Urbig for a two-goal lead.

Simeone is shown a yellow card by the ref and rightly so. He's still ranting on, even as play continues.

  10. 'Arsenal have got to get Eze on the ball'published at 20:40 BST

    Arsenal 0-0 Lille

    Ally McCoist
Former Scotland striker on TNT Sports

Arsenal have got to get Eze on the ball where he picks it up in that kind of number 10 position on the left hand side.

I'd like to see Lewis-Skelly further on the outside rather than the other way around.

Atleti fight for every loose ball. They press hard and immediately put pressure on United when they look to counter.

United need to do the same here.

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Manchester United

Former England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Manchester United just need a little bit of time on the ball, they need a spell of possession because at the moment Atletico Madrid just keep coming at them in waves.

  13. Postpublished at 20:38 BST

    Atletico Madrid 1-0 Manchester United

Ten minutes to go until the break and take away that dreadful start and Manchester United have done OK in general. Atletico are seeing a lot of the ball but the visitors are defending a bit better now.

  14. Postpublished at 20:38 BST

    Galatasaray 1-0 Barcelona

Barcelona breathe a big sigh of relief!

The corner comes flying into the mixer and Victor Osimhen gets a great header on it before Baris Alper Yilmaz gets the last touch past Joan Garcia.

But after a lengthy VAR check, it's ruled out for offside.

  15. Postpublished at 20:37 BST

    Arsenal 0-0 Lille

The ball drops nicely for Mikel Merino in the box but he blasts over the bar.

Arsenal trying all sorts from left to right and back again but they can't find the opening. Myles Lewis-Skelly goes for goal from a tight angle at his near post but it's a simple save for Berke Ozer. Perhaps should have squared the ball across for someone else to have a go.

Baleba looks our best player simply because he actually runs and puts a shift in! Says it all really. We need more players with his hunger and fight.

Rashford does well in the area as he heads towards the goal but he unnecessarily pulls Baena back and immediately the ref calls an Atleti ball.

Since the goal Man Utd have been by far the better team but a lack of clinical finishing is costing them an equaliser. Athletic are largely playing on the counter attack and worryingly Utd’s defence looks fragile! They need to take one of these good chances.

    Arsenal 0-0 Lille

Brave play from Lille, passing it around the back line deep in their own half. But to be fair, there's not much pressure on the ball from Arsenal.

Tielemans doing absolutely nothing to warrant his place so far this season. Surely Mount or Lacey are better options at this point.
