Milos Kerkez travels up the pitch and slides it through for Alexander Isak but the angle is against him and he lashes it into the crowd.

Arsenal come forward but Bruno Guimaraes scuffs his shot as Bradley Barcola sprints away with it but Noni Madueke sweeps his legs.

Boos from the Kop as Arsenal take a good while over the goal-kick.

Suspect we'll see more of this as the half goes on.

Liverpool's two attacks have come from two passes from Trey Nyoni where he just fizzes it through the lines in to Mac Allister and splits Arsenal's press. It's brilliant passing from the youngster.

Jeremy Jacquet looks the real deal, doesn't he?

A couple of moments in this second half already where he's taken the ball off Kai Havertz.

Liverpool inject a bit of pace in their attack but Cody Gakpo's cross is a daisy cutter and Arsenal clear.

Wonder when Andoni Iraola will unleash Dominik Szoboszlai.

I should imagine we'll see him at some point.

Arsenal still hold that threat on the break but the speed at which Liverpool have closed them down has been hugely impressive. Arsenal haven't been able to deal with Liverpool's press.

Ronald Araujo does brilliantly to get on the outside and send in a great cross into the box but I don't think any of his team-mates expected it.

Or they could go for the second goal and kill the game off.

Interesting to see how Arsenal approach this second half. You'd think they'll feel confident in keeping Liverpool out here, even if they're attacking the Kop.

Away we go for the second half at Anfield. Let's hope it's more of the same.

Liverpool are going to come now. They are kicking towards the Kop. Arsenal have to take the blows and take them on the break.

Both sides are back out for the second half.

I'd love to see the error [stats] that Arsenal have made, unforced errors from being pressured by Liverpool.

How long can Liverpool continue to press Arsenal in the way they have so far? It will be a fascinating in the second half.

I've been really impressed by Liverpool’s response. I think the only thing that they need to do, when they get into the final phase, they’re rushing it.

They just need to take a little bit more care. We know that Arsenal are going to let Liverpool have the ball, but when the game's being stretched, they can get Barcola in the game. That's what they're trying to create. But when they get there, everything's a little bit too rushed or they're taking a shot too early.

Liverpool are right in this game, you know Arsenal are going to be strong defensively. That's what they do. But in terms of the game and the positives, Liverpool are well in this.

And here's how the momentum swung in the first half.

That Arsenal defence earned its money.

Liverpool have had 28 touches in the opposition box so far today, the most on record (since 2008-09) by any side in the first half of a Premier League game against Arsenal.

Did Jurrien Timber get away with one with the shirt pull on Alexander Isak?

VAR said everything was fine but the Arsenal man had a fistful of the top.

The atmosphere here is the best I've heard it in years.
