They're being decisive and going for it, but they are lacking a little bit of quality still. Especially because Colchester play with a back five, it's tough to get through and you need those individual players to step up. Either have a brilliant touch, see something or create space with the ball and without the ball and it will come.

Rotherham really starting to pose a threat now.

If Rotherham keep getting these small positives, they will get a chance and it can change the complexion of this game.

Colchester's Harry Anderson does great work to prevent the ball from going out of play and it lifts his confidence enough to go for goal.

That endeavour doesn't end as well though as it's off into the stands.

A moment of worry for the U's too as Bradley Ihionvien clutches at his hamstrings but he seems to be playing on without the need for treatment.

Rotherham need to remain compact and track their runs in this second half.

"I think we started bad. The game was hard for us to get in the flow of the game. The first minutes were hard.

"We conceded corners, they scored. It was difficult. But the moment that we started combining, we scored and after that I think we really played good.

"The second goal is beautiful, the combination, the beginning of the second half is really good on the offensive part and it was about understanding what the game was asking and we controlled the game until the end. It's a good victory for us.

"It’s good to start well but realising we have a lot of work ahead of us."

West Brom and Charlton are proving too good for their opponents but Southampton are being given a hard test in Colchester.

Southampton haven't been good enough.

This has been far from their expectations. It's not easy when Colchester sit back, but you've got to have tempo on the ball and be better one-on-one.

We've seen the outlet to give the ball to Scienza or Fellows, that gets us in the box to cross it but we've got to make the runs in there, but you've got to do it with a purpose and tempo and we haven't seen that. We slow it down and when the opportunity is there to go forward with Dobbin, can you take care of the ball? No we haven't.

With the positioning - be a bit ruthless with your players and have a word. Talk to each other and help each other. That's got to be automatic from the players.
