There will be no panic but the longer this game goes on, the more Rangers will need a goal to settle things down.

Raphael Sallinger has been called into action a couple of times since the interval and if the home side can find a way past him, you sense they might go on to win this one.

Hibs are holding firm for the moment but it would take some effort to keep the home side out for another 35+ minutes...

Lawrence Shankland is slack and is robbed of the ball by Josh Mulligan in the Hibs' half.

He drives forward and slides it into Thibaut Klidje's path, but the forward doesn't move to the ball and ultimately gives away a goal-kick after the clearance deflects off of him.

That was a great opening for the visitors.

Rangers work it forward after a few scrappy challenges across the park.

It drops for Findlay Curtis to swipe at but it flies over the bar.

There's no structure to Rangers' attacks at the moments, as soon as they get into the final third they look unsure of what their next move should be.

Rangers make another change at the break with Mohamed Diomande on for Vanja Dragojevic.

Celtic assistant Shaun Maloney tells BBC Scotland: "Kasper [Hogh] had a brilliant game. He probably had as many chances as he did against Dundee but that's the life of a striker, you have to be there to take them.

"His all-round game was very good. He gave us a platform to play. Kilmarnock tried to press us really aggressively, man for man and everything that went up to him he held so we were able to run off of him.

"I was really happy with the team. I loved the creativity because we created a lot but the biggest thing was the mentality. We were at 100%, full throttle and never really came off that. We created big chances at the end and defended when they had to."

Kilmarnock manager Neil McCann tells BBC Scotland: "I'll take responsibility for that.

"I know we made some mistakes on the pitch but I went quite, quite aggressive and quite open. We've made some errors within that and we were punished by a really good Celtic side. When their tails are up you can see how well they move it around.

"I take responsibility and we'll work on it this week. We've got a massive game on Friday in the cup against Ayr United and we'll look to put things right."

Wouter Vrancken has his first win as Hearts boss and he has it in some style. Not only did they score four goals, they had to defend resolutely against a Dundee United side who refused to give in.

Tom Renaud, Calvin Miller, Claudio Braga and Josh McPake were among the goals for Hearts, who finally clicked under the new boss.

They were scintillating in attack at times, linking up brilliantly with neat one-touch passes around the edge of the box as they created chance after chance.

United, to their credit, also created plenty but lacked the clinical edge that their hosts have suddenly found.

It's not the Ibrox bow Derek McInnes wanted, so far anyway.

The home fans boo the side off at the break, with Hibs a goal to the good.

A couple of the new signings, Daisuke Yokota and Vanja Dragojevic, have looked good in flashes but it's not enough for an expectant home crowd.

Rangers know they'll need to be a lot better in the second half if they want to take all the points here.

Hibs have been nice and tidy, largely untroubled, and may look to the bench to freshen things up should they need to, given the energy and effort the starting XI have put in thus far.

It ends goalless in Motherwell and over the course of the 90 minutes it's probably a fair result.

Motherwell had the better of the first half while Falkirk certainly had the better of the second.

There was a lack of any real chances and neither goalkeeper was really troubled.

A decent chance for a fifth for Hearts as Rogers Mato is played down the left. Both sides look tired but it's really open, both teams in search of a goal - despite the game being wrapped up.

Mato is fouled and Blair Spittal prepares to whip the free kick in... and somehow Jamie McCart doesn't get a touch at the back post. That should have been five.
