Rangers manager Derek McInnes tells BBC Sportsound: "It's damaging in the sense that we came here to win and we expect to win.
"It was really harsh on us. I felt we were the better team. Sometimes in life, in football, you don't get what you deserve. We deserve far better than what we got.
"There were some positives and I liked the way how my team never gave it up, they kept going for the win.
"What we've got to do now is just dust ourselves down because that was a blow for us. The response of the team in the latter part of the game was terrific.
"We probably need to play a bit more like that more often in terms of playing forward, engaging with our strikers quicker, playing with a better tempo. It was all a bit laboured.
"I share the frustration. It's been 15 years here of frustration, built up for a number of years. The one title the club did win, it was when no fans were in so the fans have not even seen their club win a title.
"I'm determined to get this right and I believe we will get it right. It's not been a good start from us, we understand that."
On Youssef Chermiti's first-half injury, McInnes commented: "A big blow.
"It would be wrong to speculate. It's some sort of impact on his knee and the way he's planted his foot. He'll be in a brace and a boot and we'll see how that is in the scan tomorrow."

Rangers manager Derek McInnes tells Premier Sports: "We were guilty of passing up opportunities in the first half and not playing forward enough.
"I've seen it back, I don't think it's a penalty but we have a lot of the game to try and rectify that. I thought it was very soft and surprised the referee is brought over for it [to the monitor].
"When the ball did go into our strikers we were far more effective and I felt the equaliser was deserved and we wanted to win the game. I can't fault my players' effort.
"There are little things going against us at the minute but we have to stay strong, we're not as bad as people think.
"At the minute we are trying to work boys back to the same level of fitness and trying to manage that situation.

People crying for Derek McInnes to go after three matches is a joke. Any other day Rangers would have cruised to victory, they have defensive frailties but their attacking play was great and unfortunate not to score. Hibs got lucky with the second goal.

Last season, Rangers had to wait until late September for their first Scottish Premiership win of the season.
After a draw and a defeat from their opening two fixtures this season, they will have to wait until at least late August for their first league win of this campaign.
Rangers host holders St Mirren in the Premier Sports Cup next Sunday then have a free weekend and return to league action away to Aberdeen on 30 August.
The Ibrox side also have midweek European fixtures this month, with Polish side Jagiellonia Bialystok bringing a 2-1 lead to Glasgow on Thursday for the second leg of their Europa League third qualifying round tie.

Hibernian head coach David Gray tells Premier Sports: "Rangers put us under severe pressure for the second half, the character was really tested but we made an attacking substitution to try and have that mentality of not just sitting in even with the Rangers pressure.
"[The winning goal] was a brilliant moment. I'm delighted for the players because we made a lot of changes and the players that came in did really well, it builds that character.
"The type of game suits Josh Mulligan. To a man I think it would be difficult to single anyone out because they were all so good.

Dundee United Jim Goodwin tells BBC Scotland: "For people not at the game today, they'd look at the scoreline and think that Hearts have given us a right going over.
"The reality is that we had plenty of the game. In the first half, I didn't think there was a lot between the two teams. Tom Renaud has struck a great ball from 40 yards. That's why we spoke to him in the summer and tried to bring him to Dundee United.
"The second goal is really disappointing. In this day and age, you don't get away with pulling a jersey in the box from a set play. VAR were always going to look at it.
"We gave ourselves a mountain to climb. We tried to make a positive change at half-time, brought on Sapsford. We knew the importance of trying to get the next goal.
"The second, third and fourth goal, there's a bit of naivety in the way we defended those situations. Maybe a bit of inexperience. But these are things I felt we did well against Rangers."

Hearts head coach Wouter Vrancken has spoken about Alexandros Kyziridis, who looks set to move to Turkey.
"The club accepted a bid," said Vrancken of the Greece winger, 25.
"It's a good deal for the club, a good deal for him. He came in for nothing and goes out for a good deal. This is football, we focus on the players who are here.
"I wish him all the best because he's a great player and also a great person."

I touched on it before the game, if you go one without a win it's trouble, then two, now three usually that's crisis time and people start asking serious questions.
It's early on in Derek McInnes' reign and a lot of new players are in so you need time for that to gel but as you do that you need to pick up results as this football club demands it.

It's a first Scottish Premiership win of the season for Hibernian as Rangers are stunned on manager Derek McInnes' home bow.
Hibs led for so long through Josh Campbell's 12th-minute penalty, which was awarded by VAR for a foul by Vanja Dragojevic on Jason Kerr.
Rangers forced themselves level in the 85th minute when Djeidi Gassama's low cross was turned in by Hibs' Miguel Chaiwa.
But there was another twist in the tale as Hibernian broke from a corner just after Gassama had been denied by Raphael Sallinger and Callum Wright's deflected shot slipped past Ivor Pandur in Rangers' goal.

Wouter Vrancken got his first win as Heart of Midlothian head coach in his fifth attempt as they put on a classy attacking display to fire four goals past Dundee United at Tynecastle Park in the Scottish Premiership.
The Belgian suffered four defeats in his first four games in charge and came into this one off the back of a morale-sapping 6-1 thumping by Benfica just four days ago.
But his side responded brilliantly, starting brightly to race into a 2-0 lead before weathering a United fightback.
It was Tom Renaud who got the scoring started, fresh from his goal in Lisbon. Picking the ball up 30 yards from goal, the French midfielder arrowed the ball into the top corner after only four minutes.
A few moments later, Hearts had the chance to make it two from the spot as Daniel Bennie hauled down Jamie McCart from a corner. Up stepped Calvin Miller to double the lead.
It was almost 3-0 when Braga swivelled and got his shot off, but the ball cannoned off a post.
Strangely, that signalled the start of United's own wave of pressure, but the closest they could come was when Renaud headed a Lachlan Rose effort just over the bar.
Jim Goodwin's side started the second half with the same intensity, but again it was Hearts who proved more clinical as Braga fired low past goalkeeper Jack Walton.
It would soon be four. Hearts were free-flowing in attack and, when Josh McPake combined with Braga, it gave the former Saints man a chance to open his body and shoot, firing into the bottom corner for his first Hearts goal.
Analysis: Hearts click as Vrancken's vaunted style becomes clear to see
Despite their rotten record at this early stage of the season, plenty of Hearts fans would tell you that it's not actually been that all that bad.
The 4-0 loss to Sturm Graz was not a fair reflection of the game. The 2-1 loss to Aberdeen was a complete mental collapse in the dying stages. The 6-1 loss on Thursday night was against Portuguese giants and Champions League regulars Benfica.
It's hardly the start Vrancken would have wanted, but he got everything he asked for and more against Dundee United.
A reaction to that heavy defeat was the first thing on his Wishlist. A goal after four minutes soothed any fears of a European hangover.
A lethal edge up front would've been up there as well, and this was the game where it finally clicked up front.
Braga's link-up play was superb, McPake and Sabah Kerjota looked dangerous on the flanks, and Renaud looks more than capable of playing the intricate football Vrancken desires.
A clean sheet always helps, and Vrancken got that too. He's had to be patient but the centre-half pairing of midfielder Oisin McEntee and the unfancied Jamie McCart also worked, as they threw their bodies in front of everything.
This was a team missing six first-team defenders through injury or suspension, with players filling in all over the place at the back. Any questions about their mentality have been well and truly answered.
But what of United's mentality? A look at the graph above shows you that, despite going 2-0 down early on, they never stopped trying to play.
It sounds very strange to say of a team that have just been gubbed 4-0, but there was plenty to like about the performance.
The first goal was a moment of terrific quality, but the second was a coach killer. McCart wasn't even near challenging for the aerial ball when Bennie fouled him and it gave Hearts a much-needed cushion.
For the rest of the first half though, it was mostly United. Dylan Tait, wearing the captain's armband again, orchestrated from the middle of the park. Jesse Randall was a threat on the left. But they lacked a killer touch when it mattered.

Hearts head coach Wouter Vrancken: "Really great. Also happy for the players because they worked hard for this. They didn't get what they deserved in the last few games.
"But they kept going. They stand up every time. You saw the confidence growing during the game and I'm happy to see that they tried to play in that mentality. The team spirit stayed and they tried to keep the clean sheet.

What's next?
It's Premier Sports Cup action next week, but not before Hearts welcome Benfica to Tynecastle on Thursday night in the second leg of a Europa League qualifying tie that is effectively dead (19:45).
United host Celtic in the League Cup next Saturday in an evening kick off (17:45 both BST).
