Only Erling Haaland (4.43) and Alexander Isak (3.54) have a higher expected goals tally than Everton’s Thierno Barry (3.50) in the Premier League this season. However, Barry’s xG underperformance of -1.5 (2 goals) is the third-biggest of any player in the competition this season.

I hope Glasner gets a welcome return back at Palace. He did wonders for a lot of the players still there and brought titles to the club.

  6. One win in five for Forestpublished at 13:19 BST

Crystal Palace v Nottingham Forest (14:00 BST)

Oliver Glasner hasn't enjoyed the greatest start to life at Nottingham Forest with just one win in their opening five games.

But the disappointing 1-0 home loss to Coventry before the break was a real blow and Glasner will be wanting them to bounce back at his former club.

It's not been the smoothest of starts to life at Palace for new boss Pierre Sage but following Oliver Glasner was always going to be a tough ask.

Morgan Gibbs-White appeared as a substitute in all four of England's matches over the international break after having to cut his family holiday short when he received a late call-up from Thomas Tuchel thanks to so many injuries to the Three Lions squad.

Gibbs-White has again been Forest's stand out player this season, scoring (six goals) or assisting (four assists) in each of the Tricky Trees' last eight Premier League away games. Only three players in the competition’s history have ever registered a goal involvement in nine consecutive away appearances: Andy Cole (Aug-Dec 1993), Robin van Persie (Jan-May 2011), and Erling Haaland (Feb-Sep 2023).

  13. News of potential Everton sale 'a shock'published at 13:00 BST

Former Everton goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's come as a bit of a shock. They have stabilised the club. There was so much financial uncertainty when they arrived - it's felt like a turbulent time.

We [Everton] have a stadium to be crazily proud of. It's going to generate revenue from a commercial point of view.

If The Friedkin Group sell up tomorrow, they have left the club in a much better place. I just hope they do their due diligence.

I hope the new owners want to drive the club forward. Everton fans have spent too much time in a financially turbulent era.

  14. 'I love this club' - Moyespublished at 12:58 BST

Hull City v Everton (14:00 BST)

Does David Moyes feel let down by the club after it was put up for sale?

Here's your answer... "No, because I love this club.

"They could have sold me it at any time and I'd still have taken it. But it's for Evertonians that I am more disappointed. They have been through so many difficult periods and the last thing they really wanted to hear was this."

The Friedkin Group was hailed as saving Everton when it took over in December 2024.

It had bought a broken club used to financial chaos, points deductions and relegation battles. It brought back David Moyes and oversaw the move to Hill Dickinson Stadium.

However, less than two years on, it looks like the American group saw it as a way to boost its finances rather than an opportunity to return Everton to their former glory.

I think Hull have caused a bit of a stir in the Premier League this season.

The Tigers are yet to lose at home and even have a win over Manchester United under their belts.

Three points today will see them climb up to fourth, for a few hours at least.

Oliver Glasner is a Crystal Palace legend after bringing the FA Cup and Conference League trophies to south London.

But today, he returns to Selhurst Park in charge of Nottingham Forest.

I wonder what sort of reception he'll get from the home faithful.
