Sri Lankan heads drooped a touch as Ben Duckett adds four more on the pull this time. He's absolutely nailed this.

After two overs of Charith Asalanka, Asitha Fernando is back. His first two overs, which cost 23, left room for improvement.

After England's blistering start Sri Lanka might regret their approach with the bat in the opening powerplay of the match - they defended or left 25 deliveries in the first 10 overs of their innings.

This one is an edge off Tom Banton's but everything's going England's way.

Tom Banton and Ben Duckett are getting to know each other and they're doing really good at rotating strike.

And again! This is pure Ben Duckett on the slashing cut. He'll be enjoying this after a tough run.

Off spin dart in there, but it was too full. Ben Duckett walloped that.

  8. Eng 62-0published at 6.2 overs

There goes another. Ben Duckett has got a bit of his swagger back.

Can Mr Ducket stay at the crease longer than he has done . It would help if he did!!!

    Required run-rate: 6.02

We have seen some good shots from England so far but this one from Ben Duckett may be the pick. He drills Dilshan Madushanka through the covers in emphatic style.

England have almost got the required run-rate below a run per ball.

You feel like the way this wicket has been playing, Duckett will want to chalk himself up for a big score. He is one of those players that when he is on, he makes it count.

  12. Eng 48-0published at 5 overs

I can't imagine Charith Asalanka's part-time off-spin was in the script for Sri Lanka this early but he's done a good job in bringing some calm for the tourists. Three runs come from his first over.

It has been a good start from England. Going back to that point, the chasing.

This is a good template for them. They have walked out and reacted to the ball.

England have had the perfect start. They have played some good strong cricket shots.

This wicket has played beautifully so far.

This one is clever from Tom Banton. I'm giving him the credit. It's a ball better in line from Dilshan Madushanka but Banton opens the face to guide it past short third.

What's Kusal Mendis thinking here? The Sri Lanka captain has already scored 122. Now he's got to find a way to sort his bowlers out.

You have to be brave and get the ball up a bit fuller and get the ball to swing.

There is always bounce, Sri Lanka have to get their radar right and bring the stumps into play.

"Here's another for you to whack, Tom. Regards, Dilshan."

    Four more!

You watch to tuck Ben Duckett up and bring those stumps into play.

Off the front foot on this occasion, same width, same length and same result for Duckett.

Asitha Fernando has not got his radar right, at all. He is having a nightmare.

  19. Eng 32-0published at 3 overs

    Duckett 17, Banton 12

This has been a poor start from Asitha Fernando. A wide, a no-ball and far too many that are wide to Ben Duckett. Duckett adds a second boundary on the cut at the end of the over before driving one straighter in line for four too.

    17 from the over.

Of all the places to bowl to Ben Duckett - short and wide.

That couldn't have been any better for Duckett, who cuts it along the ground for four.
