    That is a remarkable stat from Steph. If they can both stay fit, though, it gives England a potent new-ball pairing.

    Ollie Robinson gets through another good over, getting the ball to move both ways off the seam, and there is just a single from it - dropped into the covers by Shan Masood.

    He starts with a maiden and finds Imam-ul-Haq's edge but the the ball drops short of the slip cordon.

    Azan Awais is the second Pakistan opener to get out off the first ball, the other was Mohsin Khan in the eighties.

    It's the sixth time an England bowler has struck on the opening ball of a Test, the last to do it was Jimmy Anderson on the boxing day Test in 2019.

    Fantastic first over from Ollie Robinson. It should be a wicket maiden but a misfield at mid-wicket allows Shan Masood to get two from the last delivery.

    A couple of balls earlier, having nipped the ball in to remove Azan Awais first ball, Robinson produces another beauty and gets it to nip the other way to beat Masood's outside edge.

    He is going to be a real handful on this pitch. Jofra Archer will share the new ball.

    It's brilliant from Robinson as well.

    Round the wicket to the left-handed Azan Awais, a little bit of shape and then the ball nips sharply in off the seam to beat the inside edge and hit the front pad.
