Hard to look at Robinson and think anything other than he should have played dozens of Tests and taken hundreds of wickets by now. A sad series of events handled poorly by all involved because what a skilled bowler he is - second only to the Broad/Anderson duo for England.

Things are looking much better at Headingley. The main covers are still in place but a couple of the outer ones have been removed and the clean-up operation appears to be under way.
Conditions are much improved from this a littler earlier...

So Shoaib Bashir (Derbyshire), Brydon Carse (Durham), Sam Cook (Essex), Matthew Fisher (Surrey) and Ollie Pope (Surrey) will get to play some red-ball cricket this week after all.

I'll tell you what - Muhammad Abbas is going to be an absolute nightmare if conditions stay the same. Hope the pitch flattens out/conditions get brighter when England come to bat!

This summer, Ollie Robinson has bowled 38 balls that would have hit the stumps - conceded nine runs and taken nine wickets.
His on the stumps bowling average of 1.00 is the lowest for any global seamer across a season in the ball tracking era (since 2006).
Good news from Headingley, where the rain has stopped.
However, the less good news is that the covers are staying on for now as another band of rain is expected.
As a result, an early lunch will be taken at 12:30 BST. Hopefully that provides enough time for a prompt restart at 13:10.
With every run proving difficult to come by for Pakistan, Ollie Robinson kept the pressure on and claimed his second wicket in the fifth over of the morning.
After a change of angle, Robinson produced a fantastic in-swinger to trap Shan Masood plumb lbw - it really was as plumb as it gets - and leave Pakistan 6-2.

Ollie Robinson's such a good bowler with that new ball, he gets it to talk. The wobble balls are absolutely phenomenal.
Pakistan were just starting to build a partnership but this delay means the batters will have to go back out and get settled again.
It was the best possible start for England and Ollie Robinson as the seamer, who took three wickets in the first over of his Test comeback at Lord's earlier this summer, struck first ball.
A full delivery, nipping back in to Azan Awais and there was little the left-hander could do. Up went the umpire's finger and the Pakistan opener, after an unsuccessful review, was on his way...

That, in large part, is down to another superb spell from Ollie Robinson.
We can only hope that this is just a passing shower but the rain is coming down pretty heavily at the moment.

That's an excellent decision by the umpire. It looked like a really good appeal.

No bat involved, the ball flicked the back leg of Abdullah Shafique.
England were convinced by the noise but it was an excellent on-field decision. They did check for lbw as well but the ball was going well over the top.
Another review lost.
