    Sussex 521-9 v Glamorgan 155

James Coles nudges Tom Norton down to third man for four and he and Jaydev Unadkat have a 100 partnership for the 10th wicket.

They have only been together for just over an hour and it has taken them 87 balls.

    Notts 193 v Somerset 310 & 14-0

Josh Thomas went for a duck in the first innings for Somerset but this is much better from the opening bat.

He plays a lovely straight drive off Brett Hutton and it races away to the long-off rope for four.

  3. Postpublished at 17:42 BST 13 June

    Lancs 87 v Kent 178 & 222-6

Chris Benjamin motors on for Kent as he swats away powerfully through backward point from Tom Aspinwall.

All wrists and it flies away for four. Another single for Benjamin from the next ball takes him to 34.

And the Kent lead stretches to 313.

  4. dropped catch

    Sussex 509-9 v Glamorgan 155

James Coles miscues as he tries to hit Tom Norton over mid-wicket.

The young bowler is in position to take a return catch but somehow puts it down.

Coles' response is to blast the ball over long-off for six as he moves to 212 not out.

    Davey c Snater b Bennett 5 (Leics 167-9 v Essex 401)

Full toss, bunted straight to Shane Snater at cover, and Josh Davey can't quite believe what he has done.

Hardly a celebration from the bowler who hasn't got the nerve to celebrate given it was an awful ball.

The Foxes are one wicket away from being asked to follow-on unless this final partnership can scratch their way to 252.

After three dot balls, James Coles drives Ben Kellaway through backward point and reaches 200 not out off 219 balls.

It's the fifth double century in Division One this season and has featured 10 sixes to go with his 18 fours.

An absolutely magnificent innings which has provided rich entertainment this afternoon.

    Scriven c Cox b Bennett 16 (Leics 159-8 v Essex 401)

Oh... take a bow Jordan Cox. When you pick yourself up off the floor, that is.

Not content with hauling Essex to a decent total with the bat the England pick has gone and taken a worldie behind the stumps.

Charlie Bennett gets one to rise and leave Tom Scriven who does well to try and keep the edge low.

Cox dives sharply to his right to take the ball inches from the turf. Quality take.

    Foreman lbw b Aspinwall 11 (Lancs 87 v Kent 178 & 210-6)

Bertie Foreman misses the full toss and gets trapped in front by Tom Aspinwall.

It hits Foreman on the knee roll and that's a disappointing way to go.

Not a huge amount of celebration from Lancashire who know they need four more for next to nothing with the Kent lead now above 300.

  9. Postpublished at 17:32 BST 13 June

    Northants 465 v Glocs 174-4

This is so close to clipping the inside shoulder of Graeme van Buuren's bat but the umpire decides that has missed everything wooden.

If there was a noise it could have nicked trouser or thigh pad on its way to Ricardo Vasconcelos.

Replays suggest that was a very good decision, one reluctantly accepted by Harry Conway who has a good (and respectful) chat with the official.

  10. Postpublished at 17:32 BST 13 June

    Notts 193 v Somerset 310 & 4-0

The final ball of the first over from Fergus O'Neill flies down the legside and away for four byes and Somerset's first runs of the second innings.

Not sure there was a great deal wicketkeeper Joe Clarke could have done to prevent that.

  11. Postpublished at 17:31 BST 13 June

Durham are the latest winners in the Women's One-Day Cup, beating Essex by 46 runs at Chelmsford.

Mady Villiers (76) and Hollie Armitage (69) were the mainstays in their 291-9 and despite Nancy Harman's 72 off 60 balls, supported by Flo Miller's 56, the home side could only muster 245 all out in reply.

  12. Postpublished at 17:30 BST 13 June

    Lancs 87 v Kent 178 & 209-5

Bertie Foreman is joining Chris Benjamin with the mindset of getting on with it.

He crashes Liam Livingstone away for four through mid-wicket and then picks up a single.

Benjamin then nudges one through mid-off and Kent continue to scoot along pretty nicely.

  13. Postpublished at 17:29 BST 13 June

    Notts 193 v Somerset 310 & 0-0

Big shout for lbw from the first ball of the Somerset second innings as Fergus O'Neill strikes Jordan Hermann on the pads in front.

Not out is the call and O'Neill asks the umpire if it was too high.

  14. 200 runs

200 up for Kentpublished at 17:27 BST 13 June

    Lancs 87 v Kent 178 & 202-5

Bertie Foreman guides a lovely backward drive for four behind square on the offside from Tom Bailey to get off the mark and help Kent pass the 200 mark in this second innings.

Their overall lead is approaching 300. Every single run now just pushes the game slightly further out of reach for Lancashire.

That poor first innings score of just 87 for the hosts is likely going to be too much to recover from.

Get Involvedpublished at 17:26 BST 13 June

As shocking a batting collapse as I’ve seen from Notts. That could prove very costly in September

    Jonathan, Nottingham

Somerset have managed to turn a 100 plus first innings lead into two defeats and a draw in their last three matches, so I'm not holding my breath for a Somerset win!

  16. Postpublished at 17:26 BST 13 June

    Lancs 87 v Kent 178 & 198-5

Chris Benjamin pushes one into the offside and is able to come through for three for Kent.

Benjamin moves on to a quickfire 26 from 20 balls.

  17. 50 runs

50 for van Buurenpublished at 17:26 BST 13 June

    Northants 465 v Glocs 168-4

Graeme van Buuren pumps the ball towards the cover boundary and runs three to bring up a first half century of the season.

And that is a load off his mind judging by the celebration.

He has had a life, dropped off Calvin Harrison by George Bartlett at short midwicket on 44, he has survived a couple of appeals as well.

It has taken 101 balls and contained two fours.

  18. Big appeal - not outpublished at 17:22 BST 13 June

    Northants 465 v Glocs 165-4

Leg side tickle maybe? Ricardo Vasconcelos certainly takes the catch and slip, wicketkeeper and bowler Harry Conway ask the question.

    Not out is the answer.

Graeme van Buuren threw a quick look back to the umpire as he heard the appeal building which either indicates guilt or was loaded with 'don't you dare give that' sentiment.

  19. dropped catch

van Buuren dropped on 44published at 17:19 BST 13 June

Calvin Harrison let go of the ball two balls before slinging down a sky high moon ball which costs five (2nb plus 3b).

How much will this cost though as Graeme van Buuren is dropped at short midwicket after the Glocs batter fails to connect properly with an across the line pull.

One single is the immediate answer as the pair, GVB and James Bracey, take advantage to run the single on the misfield.

  20. Warwickshire trying to rebuildpublished at 17:19 BST 13 June

    Warwickshire 167-6 v Yorkshire 469

Warwickshire could find themselves batting in their second innings before the close today if they're made to follow on.

Bears captain Ed Barnard has been trying to resist and has progressed steadily to 38. He's been joined by county debutant Manav Suthar who does have a first class century to his name.

Hassan Ali is back in the attack for Yorkshire in increasingly gloomy conditions.
