Fantastic bowling performance by Kent and Keith Dudgeon in particular who ends with six wickets.
Absolutely dismal batting display by Lancashire who have lost eight wickets in this morning session for just 70 runs.
James Anderson is the last man to go, clean bowled by Dudgeon.
Kent lead by 91 runs and Dudgeon's impressive figures read 6-21 from 12 overs.
Harmer b Scriven 36
A very good last wicket partnership worth 30 runs comes to an end as Tom Scriven scatters Simon Harmer's stumps to all points.
It was a tired looking swipe outside off stump and a huge inside edge that clatters into the wood but Harmer can be proud of that knock.
It has brought a fourth batting point for Essex (Leics take three bowling points) which is something.
But the visitors will be disappointed given their last five wickets have gone this morning for 59 runs, 36 of which were provided by Harmer.
Lancs 85-9 v Kent 178

Keith Dudgeon has five wickets for Kent and Lancashire's innings goes from bad to worse.
George Balderson flicks off his legs from Dudgeon but loops a dolly straight to Bertie Foreman at mid-wicket.
Dudgeon's figures are 5-19 in his 12th over. Remarkable.
Lancashire still trail by 93 runs.
Parkinson b Bashir 22 (Durham 377 v Derbyshire)
Joy at last for Shoaib Bashir, as Callum Parkinson tries to give himself room and the England spin bowler hits his off stump.
Durham's innings comes to an end in the 120th over and Bashir's final figures are 1-43.
The bowling plaudits, though, go to paceman Ben Aitchison, who returns 5-74 and now has 32 red-ball wickets this season.

Honestly Somerset's flying start to the innings made me concerned but now I'm comforted by the idea that no matter what happens we won't have a more disastrous innings than Lancs.

Durham 377-9 v Derbyshire
Another five-for for Ben Aitchison, who bowls Ben Raine for 63 via the inside edge as the Durham all-rounder tries to chop the ball down to third man.
Raine put on 55 for the ninth wicket with Callum Parkinson, who is 22 not out as he is joined by debutant Duanne Olivier.
Leics v Essex 401-9
Simon Harmer has got his side up to that fourth batting bonus point and it has come with a reverse sweep off a full toss from Rehan Ahmed.

Liam Guthrie becomes the second victim for Jack Taylor in the over and the final one in Northants' innings, firing an attempted maximum down the throat of Matt Taylor at deep midwicket.
And that is the end of the Northants innings.
The hosts will be pretty pleased with that effort, not least given the last three wickets have contributed 85 from the overnight position.

As I headed into the ground this morning, my feeling was that yesterday summed up Leicestershire's season.
Ben Green got early wickets, but the bowling unit didn't perform as a pack, and allowed Jordan Cox to bully them, and flay them around the ground.
However, today they have proved me wrong, taking six wickets for 33 runs.
Rehan Ahmed and Alex Green bowled well with the old ball, Ahmed getting two wickets and a four-for. Ben Green and Josh Davey have backed them up with the new ball.
Jordan Cox, however, has certainly brought himself to the attention of England's selectors. He's in the squad for the second Test against New Zealand, and his swashbuckling double century was international class.
The issue for them is that not many of his teammates have helped him out, and Essex may feel their score is under par.
Sussex 220-4 v Glamorgan 155
John Simpson - who BBC Sussex's Adrian Harms has pointed out is double the age of Glamorgan paceman Tom Norton - takes a step down the pitch and hits Ben Kellaway over long-off for six.
There are few more consistent players in county cricket than Simpson and it looks like he's fancying it again today.

A horrible drag down from Jack Taylor, Harry Conway's eyes light up, cue big hoik across the line and the top edge flies high to Kristian Clarke at midwicket.
Moores c Dawkins b Mahmud 8 (Lancs 77-8 v Kent 178)
Kent's 178 in the first innings is starting to look like a very, very good total now.
Joe Moores nibbles at one outside off from Hasan Mahmud and edges through to Ben Dawkins at first slip.
Lancashire are now eight down and still 100 runs behind. They will do well to get to three figures here.
Durham 368-8 v Derbys
If Shoaib Bashir was hoping for a few wickets in this game to boost his chances of keeping his Test place, it's not going to plan so far.
He has 0-43 from 13 overs after being lofted down the ground for four by tail-ender Callum Parkinson, who is now 22 not out, with Ben Raine on 55.
Notts 31-2 v Somerset 310
This is better from Joe Clarke for Notts as Lewis Gregory slightly over-pitches and Clarke pushes it through the covers for four.
All in the timing, that one.
Lancs 73-7 v Kent 178
It tells you everything you need to know that Ben McDermott, who just dragged on, has top scored for Lancashire with 23.
Keaton Jennings is the only other batter to get into double figures with 13.
The biggest partnership for the hosts is 20 between Marcus Harris and McDermott.

Middlesex probably have the most readable shirt numbers on the county circuit (as long as they don't wear sweaters)

Worcestershire in early trouble as Dan Lategan pads up to Toby Roland-Jones who's confident appeal is answered in the affirmative.
Lategan may feel he was unlucky but it's always risky not offering a shot.

What on earth is going on with Lancashire. They appear like a one man team at the moment. Too many senior pros with too few runs and too many youngsters (perhaps unfairly) being thrust into playing and not delivering

For everyone out there who thinks Rehan Ahmed will ‘replace’ Bashir - don’t get your hopes up. If anyone, he’ll replace Stokes. Not a chance that McKey are going to leave out Bashir for a different spinner.
