Cries of "get on with it". Dear oh dear.

    Well, this is absolutely astonishing.

It's a very bad look for cricket, this I'm afraid.

I'm sure it's totally immaterial but that gives George Bartlett 4,000 first-class runs.

    Nice way to get there.

    Gloucs 145-9 (target 392) v Middlesex

The rain has arrived at the Seat Unique Stadium once again and the players are taken off.

Middlesex still need one wicket, but Matt Taylor and JT Langridge have frustrated them with some gutsy batting.

Sales b Abbas 22 (Northants 310-6 chasing 349 to beat Derbyshire)

The extra ball gets the wicket.

They're not trying to take wickets here, Derbyshire - and if they don't take wickets, they will lose this game.

GLAMORGAN BEAT SURREY BY 184 RUNSpublished at 16:03 BST 18 September
    Breaking

    Taylor b van der Gugten 15 (Surrey 115 & 427 v Glamorgan 132 & 594)

Timm van der Gugten clean bowls James Taylor and that seals the victory for Glamorgan, who do the double over Surrey!

A bizarre match with very low first innings scores and massive second innings totals.

Surrey gave a record run chase of 612 a decent go but they were never realistically going to get close and it was just a case of whether or not Glamorgan could take 10 wickets. And they could.

Glamorgan move up to sixth, six points above Surrey.

  16. Postpublished at 16:02 BST 18 September

Northants 292-5 chasing 349 to beat Derbyshire

Nine taken off the Mohammad Abbas over as James Sales gets away with a mis cued pull.

57 needed to win, 26 overs scheduled but it is getting gloomy in Northampton.

Surrey 426-9 - target 612 to beat Glamorgan

    That was almost it.

Dan Worrall smashes into his own boot from Mason Crane and it loops up in front of him.

Chris Cooke dives forward from behind the stumps to try and take the catch but it's just out of reach.

That would've been a bizarre way to end the match.

    That is an enormous shot.

I don't think Abbas would've taken kindly to that.

  20. Rain ruins exciting finalepublished at 15:57 BST 18 September

    Result: Durham drew with Worcestershire

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

For once we are too far north to guarantee the weather. This one looked like it was going to reach a cracking conclusion this afternoon, but lots of rain has bubbled up since lunch and the umpires have called it a day, with the radar showing more on the way.

Worcestershire were 32-1 when they players went off. The target was 253. So the sides have shaken hands on a draw.

Durham remain unbeaten and have 245 points. Their best season was 2013 when they took 245.5. That was also their only season with 10 wins. They have nine this year.

Next up - the trophy presentation in CLS for the Division Two champions. Next week it's the final game of the season, with a match at Old Trafford starting on Thursday.
