Pitching in line. Impact in line. Only umpire's call!

    Groans at Newlands.

Has it pitched outside leg? It's turned a long way.

    No bat...

Harmer was celebrating again here. The crowd are now after seeing one replay...

  4. South Africa reviewpublished at 11:53 GMT 28 October

A beauty from Simon Harmer to Matt Renshaw! Turn and bounce. I reckon too much but they're reviewing...

  5. Aus 136-2published at 35 overs

    Renshaw 41, Green 49

    Great fun.

Cam Green follows those sixes by pulling another bouncer, this time getting it away for four in front of square. Rabada then ups it a notch or two to get one to rise outside the towering Australian's off stump.

Back-to-back sixes for Cameron Green on the pull! He's got away with the second one massively because it has only just cleared deep square leg.

Kagiso Rabada is bent double in the middle of the pitch.

  7. Aus 120-2published at 34 overs

Simon Harmer's first over of this spell is not quite as good as the opening one of his previous. One in particular to Green is far too short.

  8. Aus 113-2published at 33 overs

Matt Renshaw takes one somewhere on the body at the end of Kagiso Rabada's ninth over. Renshaw is immediately faffing with his pads, perhaps to distract himself from the pain.

Simon Harmer is coming back at the other end.

  9. Aus 111-2published at 32 overs

    Renshaw 38, Green 27

Either side of that edge to/short of second slip in the previous Coetzee over, Cameron Green has been batting nicely. It's a good tussle with the South African quick.

Green cracks and emphatic cut early in this over but twice turns his head to awkwardly avoid sharp bouncers afterwards.

Lloyd makes a good point. It's not quite as simple as going back to domestic cricket and making runs for Labuschagne. He did that and it hasn't worked on his return.

Australia reach 100 via another outside edge.

Re: Ryan in Devon - Marnus got into good nick in the Sheffield Shield last year. He scored a lot of runs, big 100s. He's just done at test level now. He averages mid-20s the last 3 years. Not survivable. Also, selfishly, he should come back to Glammy!

    Lloyd, Cardiff

  12. Aus 99-2published at 11:29 GMT 28 October

South Africa don't appear overly riled by the decision. Those are tricky calls with the technology available.

Harmer was diving forward at second slip and claimed the catch immediately.

We've just seen another replay that looked very out.

    Big moment.

After only two replays Chris Gaffaney has seen enough. South Africa were convinced.

It's one of those tricky ones with the camera angles.

The crowd are cheering after the first replay but the TV umpire seems to think this has touched the ground...

  16. Umpire reviewpublished at 11:24 GMT 28 October

South Africa are celebrating! They think Cameron Green has been caught at second slip. The umpires want to check the catch...

  17. Aus 99-2published at 29 overs

Kagiso Rabada hasn't been quite at his best today. He has bowled seven wicketless overs for 27 runs.

This latest one after lunch sums it up. There's a beauty to Matt Renshaw in there but one the left-hander can flick off the pads and another Cameron Green can cut through point.

This is where Rabada has bowled so far.

  18. Aus 90-2published at 11:19 GMT 28 October

Gerald Coetzee, South Africa's fiery seamer with his bandanna on, charges in again after lunch. The arms are thrown up in the air when left-hander Matt Renshaw almost plays around one targeting the pads.

Coetzee has bowled with good pace, averaging 90.5mph so far.

Marnus really needs to just take a break from Test cricket and try to find some form in the Sheffield Shield. The 'dry run' he's on needs to be labelled as what it is, he just simply isn't as good as he was three years ago.

The players are back out in the middle, with Matt Renshaw and Cameron Green leading the way.

Can either side get on top? A fightback has come at every turn so far in this Test.
