Lancs v Durham 197-2
Exquisite late cut by Mayank Agarwal and that is four runs off spinner Noman Ali. Agarwal is 30 not out and Emilio Gay has 85.
Final round of the 2026 County Championship; nine games
Warwickshire will be champions if they take 14 or more points against Leicestershire
A win or a draw with at least six batting/bowling bonus points would be enough
They have three already after bowling out Leicestershire for 125 - Ethan Bamber takes 4-42
Dan Lawrence hits unbeaten 105 for Surrey against second-placed Somerset
England's Emilio Gay makes 141 for Durham against Lancashire
Kent need a minimum of 15 pts to win promotion after Northants all out for 103 against Middlesex

Yates b Holland 0 (Warks 0-1 v Leics 125)
Well then...
Leicestershire start with a couple of maiden overs and then get their first wicket.
Rob Yates tries to drive through the off side but chops onto his stumps for a duck and Ian Holland has an early breakthrough.
Notts 136-3 v Yorkshire
Nottinghamshire's Jack Haynes is on the march.
He lofts one backward of square for a one-bounce four to move onto 36*.
Kishore c Benjamin b Ahmed 0 (Kent v Glos 151-7)
Well directed bouncer from Khaled Ahmed and Sai Kishore gloves a catch to the keeper.
He is gone for a duck and Kent are now well on top and looking to polish off the tail in short order.
James Bracey is still there, though, on 42 not out.
Hampshire v Sussex 163-7
Jack Carson has decided the best form of defence is attack at the Utilita Bowl.
The Sussex number nine has hit two sixes in his 34 not out off 43 balls.
Nottinghamshire 132-3 v Yorkshire
Brilliant shot by Jack Haynes.
The middle order batsman deliberately lifts one over the slip cordon to the vacant third man boundary for four.
Warks 0-0 v Leics 125
Rob Yates and Will Young are at the crease with the bat for title-chasing Warwickshire, who have done wonders with the ball again today.
Notts 128-3 v Yorkshire
Big appeal from George Hill who thinks he has trapped Haseeb Hameed lbw.
"He hit it!" someone of a Nottinghamshire persuasion yells inside Trent Bridge.
Height may have been a problem as well there. Not out.

Image source, ShutterstockQuite a few sides haven't made 100 against this Warwickshire attack lately. Leicestershire have only made 125.
There's nothing wrong with this pitch at all.
Warwickshire will now be looking to bat for a day and a half, but it's important they just take it one ball at a time, play each ball on its merits and with their batting line-up, they should comfortably go past that total.
If they can get past it with only two or three wickets down, they're going to get a nice first-innings lead.
At the moment, I'd say that Championship is 95% Warwickshire's.
Worcs 177-9 v Derbys

The Pakistan seamer's line and length are immaculate as a thin edge by Ben Gibbon provides a simple catch for keeper Brooke Guest.
Ahmed b Ahmed 4 (Kent v Glos 149-6)
Daz Ahmed tries to drive Khaled Ahmed and drags the ball into his stumps off the inside edge.
That's the second bowling bonus point for Kent and the visitors ahve now lost four wickets since lunch.
Warks v Leics 125

It's been an outstanding effort by the Bears' bowling attack in the closing weeks of the season.
Glamorgan 165-1 Essex
Kiran Carlson completes a seventh half-century of the season.
He has only once made it to 100 though so will be aiming to grab a second century in this final round.
The Glamorgan skipper is seventh in the Division One run-scoring charts with 884 for the campaign.
Holden c McManus b Sanderson 1 (Middx 22-3 v Northants 103)
Another one for Ben Sanderson! This is an incredible spell by the fast bowler.
He has grabbed a wicket in each of his first three overs so far.
Again, around the wicket, he gets Middlesex captain Max Holden to nick behind to Lewis McManus.
It's a healthy edge and McManus takes an easy catch. Sanderson is making this ball talk right now.

Well, Carlson has definitely continued to grow into the innings.
He now has six boundaries, just one short of his counterpart Asa Tribe and brings up the half-century after 93 balls.
Nottinghamshire 124-3 v Yorkshire
Image source, ShutterstockHaseeb Hameed brings up a really hard fought half-century by running the ball down to third man for four.
The opening batsman has been a study of concentration so far today, most of his boundaries coming from square or behind the wicket.
He goes past 9,000 first-class runs in the process.
Hull c & b Barnard 8 (Warks v Leics 125)
Captain Ed Barnard wraps things up, gathering up a caught-and-bowled chance off Josh Hull to end the Leicestershire innings on 125.
While the Bears move a step closer to the title, Leicestershire are on the brink of relegation.
No more margin for error. If Essex take one point against Glamorgan, the Foxes will be relegated - subject to an appeal against their points deduction.
Somerset v Surrey 159-3
Mark Church
BBC Radio London commentator
That really did turn back. That’s the first one that really has gone. It’s turned and bounced and gone straight into Overton’s chest for four byes.
Somerset v Surrey 158-3
Ooh I thought that was a dropped catch from Craig Overton but on second viewing there's no bat involved at all from Dom Sibley.
That shot up off the pitch and surprised everyone, including Overton at slip, as he can't keep hold of the ball and it goes away for four byes.
Dhariwal c Muyeye v Milnes 2 (Kent v Glos 144-5)
Full length, swinging delivery from Matt Milnes, Kamram Dhariwal tries to drive and Tawanda Muyeye does the rest at slip.
Milnes has figures of 2-39 as Daz Ahmed comes to the crease. He's scored some useful runs for Gloucestershire of late and they need more from him now.
