  1. 'It's an unknown' - Capsey takes England gloves for first timepublished at 16:26 BST 1 September

There has been a lot of talk about Alice Capsey and her wicketkeeping today, given she has taken the gloves for only the second time in a professional match.

England are experimenting to see if she can do the job long term. Capsey was, for all of her limited experience at the top level, a regular keeper in junior cricket.

My chat with her is on TMS now and you can listen at the top of this page. Head over here to read the written version.

It's still a decent pitch. There's not much turn and I think there's only one or two balls that have held. There's no real demons - nothing kept low. Maybe England's pace helped the Ireland batters.

Katherine Sciver-Brunt admits, with her England hat on, she is "slightly worried". This should be a good test.

  5. Interval - Ire 281-5published at 50 overs

And that helps Ireland set England a testing 282!

England need to pull off their record ODI run chase and remember they're without a lot of their experienced names.

That hit the base of leg stump and....just look at Issy Wong's reaction!

  7. Ire 280-5published at 49.5 overs

How's your luck?! Issy Wong hits the base of leg stump with a good whack but the bails don't come off. The ball deflects away for four too.

  8. Ire 276-5published at 49.4 overs

    Two more to the total.

Good from Issy Wong by not allowing the batters to free their arms.

  10. Ire 274-5published at 49.3 overs

Louise Little gets her single this time.

  11. Ire 273-5published at 49.2 overs

    Dot ball.

  12. Ire 273-5published at 49.1 overs

A leg bye to start. Can England keep Stokell off strike for the rest of the over?

  13. How's stat?!published at 16:13 BST 1 September

    Phil Long
    BBC Test Match Special statistician

The partnership between Rebecca Stokell and Leah Paul was worth 84 runs which means Ireland's two highest partnerships against England have come today.

  14. Ire 272-5published at 49 overs

Six runs and a wicket from the penultimate over. Charlie Dean will have taken that.

Rebecca Stokell will be on strike for the final over.

That wicket brings Louise Little to the crease and we know she can give it a tonk. Every ball must go!

    WICKETpublished at 48.3 overs

    Paul b Dean 29 (Ire 268-5)

Quicker. Flatter. Wicket. Good from Charlie Dean. That ends Leah Paul's innings but Paul has done well to support Stokell.

  17. 50 runs

50 for Rebecca Stokellpublished at 48.2 overs

This time Rebecca Stokell definitely has her fifty. She's chuckling given this is the second time she's waved her bat for this landmark.

  18. Ire 265-4published at 48 overs

    Stokell 49, Paul 27

After another wayward one from Issy Wong, England's wides total creeps up to 20. Untidy. Charlotte Edwards watches on.

  19. Ire 263-4published at 47.4 overs

Charlie Dean's reaction to this wicket earlier suggested to me England know everything is not going their way.

  20. Ire 261-4published at 47.2 overs

A misfield by Sophia Dunkley gets Rebecca Stokell back on strike.
