    Liam Patterson-White can bat but this feels like the last throw of the dice for Notts. He doesn't have any time to get himself in, he has to go straight away.

    If Patterson-White can stay with Benny Howell and keep picking up the twos there is a chance.

    They have to keep going for it and it's not always going to come off. It's full by Chris Wood and George Linde tries to squeeze it up and over for six.

    It doesn't have the legs and Scott Currie races in from long off to take a great catch.

    A very clever shot by George Linde to react well to Scott Currie's slower ball and guide it fine past third man for four.

    Linde takes a single before Benny Howell scampers through for a quick two. Good running but Notts really need to deal in boundaries here...

    And then they do as Howell absolutely thunders one over mid-wicket for six. Lovely shot. Another quick two to finish the over for Howell and 15 runs from it in the end.

    Is there still any faint hope for Notts? They need only big overs like that one from here on in.

    That was a brilliant knock by Joe Clarke who finished on 64 from 43 balls.

    Him and Haynes was a big partnership for Hampshire to break, they have bowled well so far and 187 looks to have been a brilliant total as they look to make it to this evening's final.

    Everytime a wicket falls there is a bungee ride across from us that gets launched into the air with a camera that shows the reaction of the poor people inside of it onto the big screens - it is really quite amusing.

    The sun is out at Edgbaston and the crowd are keeping themselves cool as they fan themselves with their hand-held cards, it's been a belter of a day so far.

    Tom Moores has little choice but to try and get on with it but his attempted smash over long on instead goes straight into the hands of Liam Dawson and that's now two wickets for James Fuller.

    Baker responds well to restrict Notts to just three more singles from the over though.

    The required run-rate is up to about 13-an-over.

    On the one hand you are thinking it’s the last ball of spin can you go big but there is another school of thought that says it’s the last ball of spin, you have won the over already and partnerships win you the game.

    Do you just get a single and live to fight another day and let the partnership continue to blossom?

    He's gone for a big over and thought can we make it as big as possible and blow the game out of the water with another six.

    Notts are having a really good go at this and Joe Clarke in particular. He backs away from Liam Dawson's spin to create room and cuts away for four before picking up a single.

    Jack Haynes keeps things ticking with another one through the off-side.

    Clarke then sends an absolutely huge six over wide mid-wicket and into a construction site. That's massive.
