HONOR the Challenger

10 years since the Ice Bucket Challenge, technology is enabling people with ALS in previously unimaginable ways, allowing them to impact the world around them.

Honor, is a leading consumer electronics brand who has integrated multimodal technologies into their mobile phones, enabling people with ALS and disabilities to live with a greater quality of life. Honor wanted to raise awareness for ALS associations and people with ALS globally using sports as a gateway and highlight their commitment to empowering ALS patients with multimodal technology.

Honor the Challenger is an advertisement feature, produced by BBC StoryWorks for Honor, which passes the microphone to people with ALS. The branded film showed how people with disabilities are the true shapers of multi-modal tech and, through human-centric narratives, illustrated the positive outcomes that can come when brands truly listen.

The campaign won gold in Creative at The Drum Awards for Marketing APAC for its authentic representation of ALS, spotlighting Bernard Muller's innovation and resilience, and engaging audiences through emotional storytelling and technology.
