  1. It has been a team effort - Adamspublished at 14:20 BST 17 July

Hampshire Hawks v Durham (14:30 BST)

    Hampshire Hawks

Hampshire skipper Georgia Adams herself has scored more than 340 runs and is her side's leading wicket-taker with 23 from her 12 matches.

But she says the "remarkable" campaign has been a huge team effort.

"We've had almost a different XI every single game, with injuries and England players coming in and out," she told BBC Radio Solent.

"We've asked a lot of a quite young, inexperienced group of players to adapt to a range of roles and styles. But one thing we have had is consistency of preparation and training, and of mindset."

Hampshire Hawks arrive at The Oval having topped the group with eight wins and, remarkably, two ties from their 12 matches.

Among those wins included an eight-wicket hammering of today's semi-final opponents Durham at Southampton, with runs flowing from the bat of captain Georgia Adams as well as England international Maia Bouchier who averages just under 89 in this campaign following two big unbeaten knocks of 77 and 74.

Skipper Adams has also taken more wickets than anybody else in the Hampshire team and they are contributions with bat and ball which have aided the Hawks' successful bid to reach The Oval.

  5. 'I feel a lot more confident now'published at 13:47 BST 17 July

Surrey 105 v The Blaze 106-4 - The Blaze win by six wickets

    The Blaze

The Blaze player of the match Charli Knott speaking to Sky Sports:

"I think I always knew that Laura Harris was going to come pretty hard so I just tried to take all the pace out of it and make her generate it, not that she has any issue with that, but it worked thankfully.

"Then I was just targeting the stumps, which also paid off."

On her good form: "In all honesty, I think it's just about getting my head in the right space.

"Once I calmed myself down, I felt a lot more confident out there in the middle.

"I'm comfortable wherever I'm batting and again it just comes back to the routines."

  6. 'It's disappointing, but we'll be back'published at 13:41 BST 17 July

Surrey 105 v The Blaze 106-4 - The Blaze win by six wickets

    Surrey

Surrey captain Bryony Smith speaking to Sky Sports:

"It's obviously really disappointing. To come into a semi-final and put in one of our worst batting performances is tough.

"But I'm super proud of the fight we showed out there. It still took them 16-plus overs to get that, so I thought we bowled pretty well, it just wasn't to be today."

On why it went wrong with the bat: "I just think a few poor decisions out there. We want to go out there, we want to be attacking but we didn't read the situation.

"We want to be positive, so we will still back our players to do that. I think we proved a few people wrong this year.

"We got a lot of stick before the competition that we relied on our England players. But we proved our squad was brilliant and we will be back next year to get the trophy."

  7. 'We're full of confidence'published at 13:38 BST 17 July

    Surrey 105 v The Blaze 106-4

    The Blaze

More from Blaze captain Kirstie Gordon, speaking to Sky Sports:

"I'm a badger, I'll be watching the second semi-final but some of the others will be resting up and getting into the right frame of mind for 6.45pm."

Gordon says she doesn't mind who they face in the showpiece, adding: "We'll be ready for whoever comes out on top.

"We're full of confidence, happy with how we played, but it's about resetting and restarting.

"We'll get together for a chat to make some plans once we know who we are playing."

  8. 'Great start to the day'published at 13:35 BST 17 July

Surrey 105 v The Blaze 106-4 - The Blaze win by six wickets

    The Blaze

The Blaze captain Kirstie Gordon speaking to Sky Sports:

"Brilliant, really chuffed. Great start to the day. We knew they'd come pretty hard and they did. Such a powerful batting line-up so it was all about trying to stay composed, stay calm.

"When you get somebody like Laura Harris at the crease, she's just going to try and hit every ball to the boundary, so we knew they'd come hard.

"So it was about trying to stay calm and I think we did that really well."

On Charli Knott's performance: "She's been absolutely outstanding for us. She's just been brilliant with bat and ball.

"She delivers in key moments and she's doing it again today. I've got nothing but praise for her."

They have been absolutely outstanding, especially with the ball.

Surrey will be desperately disappointed with that, to be bowled out in the 16th over.

The Blaze had an excellent powerplay, even though it ended in a bit of a muddle for that last run.

Absolutely terrific performance from the Blaze, they go into the final this evening, and there will be a new name on the trophy.

    Surrey 105 v The Blaze 106-4

Surrey’s title defence is over and it was never really in doubt for The Blaze, who book their place in the final in convincing fashion.

Ryana MacDonald-Gay catches Emma Jones on the thigh and it runs to leg slip but Jones and Georgia Elwiss scamper through for a quick single to get the job done.

All the hard work was done in the first innings by The Blaze by bowling Surrey out for just 105, with Charli Knott taking 4-15 and Grace Ballinger 3-18.

Decent enough contributions with the bat from Sarah Bryce (16), Tammy Beaumont (29), Kathryn Bryce (34) and Knott (21) and that is that.

And still the wait for victory goes on for The Blaze. Two wickets in two balls.

Charli Knott catches it well but it's straight to Danni Wyatt-Hodge at mid-wicket, who takes a second catch in as many balls.

The opportunity is there to win the game, but it's a wicket instead.

Understandably there's not too much cause for celebration out there, it's just delaying the inevitable.

    The end is nigh.

It's been outstanding from the Blaze today, they have done their homework, especially with the ball.

This has been a very sensible chase too.

    Surrey 105 v The Blaze 98-2

The Blaze are fast closing in on victory with time to spare.

Charli Knott opens up her body to Kalea Moore and whips it away for four through backward point.

Knott picks up a single before Kathryn Bryce hammers one down the ground for four. Bryce then repeats the trick, this time smashing it through extra cover.

It's almost done and dusted for The Blaze. Just eight more needed.
