Wow! Another big wicket for Durham who are clawing their way into control of this match at the moment.

Abi Norgrove tries to take a quick single off Sophia Turner but Lauren Filer is quickly onto it to make a direct hit.

Norgrove's bat is over the crease line but isn't grounded, so she has to go.

A brilliant over for Turner and Durham with two wickets from it and just one run.

Hawks skipper Georgia Adams tries to go big through the legside but it takes a leading edge and loops up to Trudy Johnson at short third, who makes no mistake with the grab.

Durham skipper Hollie Armitage turns to Heather Graham to have a crack with the ball and it's done the trick.

Ella McCaughan just slightly over-extends at one outside off and can only succeed in looping it straight up to Armitage at cover to take a simple catch.

A quick decent knock by McCaughan, who goes for 23. In comes Abi Norgrove.

This is a really good wicket. If I'm honest, the first semi final didn't do this wicket justice. There is pace and bounce here.

I didn't think the first semi-final was very good.

    Hampshire Hawks 47-1 v Durham

Hampshire are ticking along nicely in the powerplay. Georgia Adams punches straight down the ground from Lauren Filer for two before cutting for one through backward point.

Same shot from Ella McCaughan, same result for another single.

And then Adams hits her second four of the innings, driving down to long-off for four.

Mady Villiers is into the bowling attack for Durham and drops one in too short and it gets the treatment from Ella McCaughan, who smashes through mid-wicket for four.

McCaughan hits three boundaries in three balls, smashing over wide mid-wicket and then swatting away to the rope through backward point.

Expensive over with 14 from it.

She's in absolutely sweet form, Georgia Adams.

She is the top wicket taker in the Blast with 23 wickets (Charli Knott actually overtook her in the first semi, now with 25 - ed) and is averaging 31 with the bat, so she is brimming with confidence is the Hampshire skipper.

    Big wicket!

Maia Bouchier flashes at one outside off from Trudy Johnson and nicks behind to Mia Rogers.

Bouchier was denied a boundary the previous delivery after some excellent fielding by Lauren Filer to prevent it going for four at long-off.

But that is the end of Bouchier now and she goes for seven.

Hampshire are pushing those runs along, as you have to in T20 - get on the front foot and look to dominate during the powerplay.

At the moment Hampshire are moving in the right direction, on a pitch that is drying out and an outfield that has lost its dew. It will be even quicker than when we started this morning.

No spectators for women's T20 Blast final because it's Friday. Why not women's final on Saturday and the men's final on Sunday

    Tim, Aberystwyth

We've had a lot of messages about this... perhaps understandably. There's an England men's ODI against India on Sunday at Lord's. The calendar is very busy at this time of year. It is a shame.

Lauren Filer opens the bowling from the other end for Durham.

Some good running from the two Hawks batters as Ella McCaughan guides one down to third and they scamper back for a quick two.

Maia Bouchier gets off the mark in fine style, pouncing on the short and wide one from Filer to crash to the extra cover boundary for four.

  19. We've wiped slate clean for Finals Day - Adamspublished at 14:25 BST 17 July

Hampshire Hawks v Durham (14:30 BST)

    Hampshire Hawks

Hampshire captain Georgia Adams has called for the team to "wipe the slate clean" for T20 Blast Finals Day.

The Hawks topped the group table, winning eight of their 12 matches, losing twice and being involved in two tied games.

They face fourth-placed Durham for a place in the final against The Blaze.

Adams told BBC Radio Solent: "I'm a big believer that you always need to wipe the slate clean going into finals.

"I think the most casual I ever went into a Finals Day was in 2024 (for the Southern Vipers) when we were quite lucky enough to put out an incredibly strong team.

"We had five members of the England T20 side that day, but had a pretty tough day at the office and I learnt the hard way in the semi-finals (losing to South East Stars).

"That day taught me a lot. As important as it is to take confidence and momentum from the group stages, it's also important to start again, and do the simple things really well, and players holding their nerve under a bit more added pressure."

Durham took up the final remaining place at Finals Day by winning seven matches to clinch fourth spot in the group stage.

Captain Holly Armitage has led by example with the bat, averaging 50 and scoring 64 in a comprehensive win over Hampshire when the sides met at Chester-le-Street back in May.

They have shared the wicket-taking responsibilities, too, with Heather Graham, Maddy Villiers and Katie Levick all contributing with the ball. It's an attack which has been bolstered by the return of England World Cup quick Lauren Filer, too.

If they can reach the final later today, Durham will be buoyed by the fact that they toppled The Blaze home and away in the group stage.
