Just another single added for Charli Knott off Dani Gregory to end the 14th over.

The Blaze need 22 from 36 balls to win.

She's limping off. It's not going Surrey's way to say the least.

    Surrey 105 v The Blaze 83-2

Surrey skipper Bryony Smith is up on her feet but she cannot play any further part, for now at least.

Smith trudges off the field and is replaced by Phoebe Franklin.

Is it her left shoulder that she fell on heavily? It's unlike Bryony Smith to make an error like that in the field.

She went down heavily on her left side. She's being helped off. We might have seen the last of her today.

    Surrey 105 v The Blaze 83-2

Another four for Charli Knott off Dani Gregory as it's squeezed through Surrey skipper Bryony Smith, who misfields behind square on the offside.

And now Smith is down with an injury. This doesn't look great for Smith.

The Blaze have this very much within their compass to go on and win this, maybe with a couple of overs to spare.

    Surrey 105 v The Blaze 78-2

Good running from this pair as Kathryn Bryce nudges a quick single from Alice Monaghan.

And when it's not your day, it's not your day... Monaghan finds the outside edge of Charli Knott's bat but it runs away for four.

More skill involved from Knott two balls later though, as she flicks very fine down the legside for another four.

Every single run feels demoralising for Surrey at this point. The Blaze only need another 28 to book their spot in the final this evening.

It's all too easy at the moment, there's not a lot of pressure on these singles.

  9. Postpublished at 12 overs

    Surrey 105 v The Blaze 69-2

No fireworks from The Blaze here but they really don't need any with such a low target to chase down.

Three singles for Kathryn Bryce and two for Charli Knott off Dani Gregory and that's enough to keep the scoreboard ticking along towards the 106 runs needed.

  10. Postpublished at 11 overs

    Surrey 105 v The Blaze 64-2

A good over from Tilly Corteen-Coleman. One wicket and just three runs from it.

Surrey need more of that to even remotely stand a chance of keeping their T20 Blast title defence alive.

That was a wicket which was desperately needed by the home side.

The Blaze have just got to be a little bit careful.

Blaze lost eight wickets for 23 in an almighty collapse when these sides met at Trent Bridge just a few weeks back.

That's the end of Tammy Beaumont.

She comes down the track and tries to smash Tilly Corteen-Coleman through the offside but holes out to Alice Davidson-Richards at long-off.

    Surrey need a few more...

They have just got to see it through and get over the line.

I'm not going to say if they lost it from here it would extraordinary, given what we have seen in the men's quarter-finals this week...

  14. Postpublished at 10 overs

    Surrey 105 v The Blaze 61-1

Just a tad too short from Dani Gregory outside off stump and Kathryn Bryce is onto it quickly, cutting away through backward square for four.

Bryce then adds another one and it feels like The Blaze are closing in on an inevitable win to take them to the final. Another 45 needed from 60 balls.

Not quite at the halfway mark but The Blaze are well over halfway to the runs required.

No stopping those. It's short from Ryana MacDonald-Gay and Tammy Beaumont hammers it hard through mid-wicket for four.

MacDonald-Gay responds well with a yorker which Beaumont manages to dig out.

A single apiece for Beaumont and Kathryn Bryce to finish the over and now The Blaze need just another 50 to win from 11 overs.

As the semis are played at a neutral ground, I would like to see the reward for finishing first and second in the group being the equivalent of winning the toss. The final is a real toss no matter which two teams. Thoughts?

I may be being a bit mean to the fielder but she'll be disappointed with that one.

    It was a dolly.

The Blaze are going along quite nicely.

    Oh dear...

Kathryn Bryce reverse sweeps Dani Gregory straight to Bryony Smith at short third. It's a complete dolly but Smith puts it down.

Surrey cannot afford to do that.

Strike rotation through the over with five from it and that brings up the 50 for The Blaze.

  20. Postpublished at 7 overs

    Surrey 105 v The Blaze 45-1

Alice Monaghan is into the attack and makes a half-hearted appeal as it strikes Tammy Beaumont on the thigh but it's going a long way over the top.

Kathryn Bryce then knocks one more off the target with a single to deep backward point, before Beaumont does the same to square leg.
